Heemo's Burgers in Washington Twp — Restaurant in Washington Township

Stopped here to eat after doing some dorm room shopping at Walmart a minute away. Really good food. A group of 5 of us had burger and chicken sandwich combos with fries. Burgers were good. Fresh food, nice grilled buns. I had a volcano chicken sandwich, which was really good. I opted to have it tossed in the spicy seasoning instead of regular breading and it did add some nice spice. Similar in heat level to a chain restaurant spicy chicken sandwich. Nothing to make your eyes water, but good flavor, and definitely better than the chain places. The slaw on top was a good addition. We all had the fries that were tossed in their heemo seasoning, and it was a good choice. A little bit of heat with a touch of sweet on the fries. They were a hit with our group. Good choices of Boylan bottled soda. Everybody agreed this place was a good find. Their good rating is well earned. The dining area is ok. Pretty basic. It looks like they probably do more takeout, but they have enough seating to serve multiple groups of people who eat in. We didn't have any falafel, but if it's similar in quality to the burgers and chicken sandwiches, that's probably good too. When we're over to Rowan again, we wouldn't hesitate to drive back over to this place for some solid food. It cost us under $15 per person, including tax for each meal. With fast food combo prices hitting that price range, this place is much better bang for your buck. Looking forward to the next volcano chicken and...

First time visit here and I wasn't disappointed. My sister recommended it to me, so I figured to get some dinner for my parents and I. I got the The Bahama Burger (double) and an order of Buffalo Ranch loaded fries. My parents both got The Baby Bella Burger (doubles) and Golden Fries. These are smash burgers, so that's why I got doubles. Food was very good. Both my parents said they enjoyed their food. I tried some of their golden fries and they were great. My Burger tasted very good and enjoyed the contrast with the pineapple on it. My loaded fries were good, but as always, they are not best for distance drive. I recommend getting the loaded fries if your eating in or live only a few minutes away. ( I'm 20min out) So food was on point if you ask me. The place was clean and staff was friendly. It's a open kitchen style, so you can see them making the food. I will definitely be back to try a few.more of their menu items. May have to eat in and get a shake next time.

Excellent quality cheeseburgers. I've been here a bunch of times now and am glad to have discovered this gem. The cheeseburgers are perfect. I get the doubles, and there is a good amount of meat. The beef is well seasoned, and the texture is marvelous. The taste isn't too gamey at all. The bread is fresh and branded with their signature logo, which adds a nice flair. The toppings are in a good balance. I like the Baby Bella especially. The deluxe burger is classic. The loaded fries are pretty great, and the falafel is good, too. The Heemo fries are nice and have a slight kick. My wife loves the spicy chicken sandwich. The staff has always been friendly, and when I've dined in, the eating area and bathrooms were very clean.
