Generally South Jersey is a wasteland for finding good food. If you don't want average pizza or fake Philly steak sandwiches you're out of luck. Krish's was a welcome surprise. The owners obviously put a lot of effort into the decor and dinnerware. The hammered metal plates are unique and interesting, flowers on all the tables, table cloths and so much more. Everyone there are family members according to Raj who says he is the actual owner. The service is good and efficient so the waiter actually waited until he thought I was finished my appetizer and asked if I was ready for my entree before bringing it out. Everything is made there and fresh. As usual I order the most common dish so I can compare so I ordered Samosa Chat – Vegetable pastry topped with chick peas, mint onion tamarind & yogurt appetizer followed by Chicken Curry – Boneless chicken cooked in ginger, garlic, onion tomatoes & spices for my entree. Both dishes were spot on. The Samosas with the dipping sauce they served (mint chutney & tamarind chutney) were delicious. The Curry Chicken was very tender and as spicy as I requested without being overpowering in the spices and served with herb rice. You get to choose. Just right. I found it a very pleasant experience and loved the food. I highly recommend you try them out. You can order takeout and delivery but the experience is in dining room eating so get up and get out to try it.

Want to shake up date night, take the road less traveled to Krish's Indian Bistro. Quiet, elegant decor sets a nice ambiance for date night. The food was very good missing only the ability to salt to taste. The veggies samosa fried perfectly with a tasty filling. The lamb korma was very tender and moist, needed nothing more than a pinch of salt(but that is a personal preference) . Wife made the same critique about the shrimp biryani but we enjoyed both dishes while there and even more when we added the salt to the leftovers. We just returned during lunch buffet to try more, and boy was it just as good. Every selections was tender and flavorful without the normal detractors from Indian cuisine. Pleasantly delightful lunch. Not to detract only negative was I watched the employees drunk cheap bottle water instead of what was being served to guest. That is just a bad look but everything else was great.

I am an avid Indian lover and wanted to try something closer to home today. The reviews were good but I knew it was pricier. I did it anyway. Veggie Samosas, Chicken Vindaloo & 2 garlic naan for takeout. My food was ready quickly. I feel bad but I was truly very disappointed. The samosas were great. The vindaloo was like a red soup broth, not thick with veggies, not flavorful at all. It was very bland and watery. The rice was bland and not flavorful like other places. The naan was thick, not thin and crunchy around the edges. Typically I save a naan and leftovers for tomorrow. But I was so disappointed that I got rid of everything. I hope my experience was just mine. I’ll be sticking with my regular Indian places going forward.

This is the first time I tried Indian food that a friend didn’t make for me. I have to say I was seriously impressed! I had the Tandoori Chicken which was cooked with such flair and couture presentation I didn’t know what to say for the first time in a long time! The chicken was done tender and flavorful! My friend ordered the chicken curry and had me try it. She asked for medium heat. I do not like curry, well until now! Here are is my exact experience. I almost forgot. I also tried the mango chutney with the fruit and nut naan bread. Glory to God, I nearly died and went to heaven! Also the inside is very classy! Fresh flowers sit in elegant vases, it’s extremely clean with classical piano music playing and beautiful pillows on the seats. They have both tables and half booth half tables. Now for my senses experience. The first bite was made with trepidation due to my lack of fondness for curry. As the first fork entered my mouth I was overwhelmed with the amazing spice experience. I feel I finally had come home! Each and every mouthful required a sound of delight coming deep from within my stomach. The road to heaven was before me and I got closer with each mouthful! The waitress very lovely and beautiful woman was truly amazing as well! I have to run now because I’m being rushed by my friend but to miss this heavenly experience is to have not lived a full life! They are closed on Monday but open all other days....

We love your butter chicken and order takeout. Ordered 3 butter chicken dinners w garlic naan last night (Sunday) and picked it up at 7:20 pm. When I called the order in I asked to make sure that each butter chicken dinner came with its own dish of rice and was told yes (because the following situation happened in the past with our order) Got home to find we were given one foil dish of rice with one smaller size plastic dish of rice. ( not even 2 of the normal size foil dishes!!) Not happy about this! Was going to call but figured whats the point, you close at 8pm and we were home and not driving back. Last time I ordered take out I requested an “extra dish of rice” with my order and was asked immediately “ how many people are eating “ What does it matter?!!! If I want to pay for an extra dish of rice I shouldn't be asked that question! Why so stingy with the rice?? Again, we love the butter chicken and will try again but I hope we get 3 dishes of rice to go with our 3 orders of butter chicken or it will be the last...
