New Bamboo Garden — Restaurant in Washington Township

I don’t usually post, but I felt I just had too. My first time ordering from here. I had my food delivered, almost $30. First of all, I preordered and when it didn’t arrive as Thur website said it would (waited an extra 45 min) I called, had to give my card number, she had me repeat it 3 times, and I went over my order about the same amount. Something told me to call back and make sure she really got my order right, you got it, she didn’t! Someone else got on the phone and I had to explain all over again, but here’s the part that really scared me, she needed my card number Again! Claimed it wasn’t showing! I specified no contact, ring the bell and sit my bag down, did they do it! NO! I kept telling him through the glass door, “put it down, just put it down” he wouldn’t I had to stick my hand out for it, and he hands me a receipt to sign, never leaves one for me. I’m not supposed to have Any Outside Contact! When I brought my order in, I have never been more disgusted over Chinese food, EVERYTHING was bad except for the dumplings, I mean EVERYTHING! I’ve gotten shrimp rolls before that were crying out for more shrimp, but this was horrible! I found one tiny, tiny shrimp and very little stuffing, greasy and empty! I took a picture of it because this was hard to believe! I know I wrote a lot here, but I just had to let you know. I see some have said they liked the food, that’s why I took a chance. Maybe I caught them on a off day, I don’t know, what I do know is that my first time, is differently going to be my last time! Hasta...

I have been ordering from here for years, definately the best in the area. The staff is so nice and polite for takeout and delivery is lightning fast... like wow... I always order extra as the food is sooo good leftover (wontons are even better left over!) The dumplings are my favorite. Also like General Tsos, Chicken and Broccoli, WonTons, Lo Mein, Sweet and Sour... never had anything I didnt love... except not a big fan of their egg rolls (they are still enjoyable just not on par with everything else), but everyone else I know loves them so it must be me. Definately recommend this place, I've tried them all and this is the best delivery Chinese Food you can get in the Washington Twp area!

Also.. Their food isn't very spicy.. which could be a good thing or bad thing to you, but luckily they will alter it... so for things like General Tsos etc I ask for extra spicy and it is...

Me and my wife lived in this area for a while and our go to was this place good food, good size. We moved away about 2 years ago. That being said when we wanted Chinese recently and we're in the area we did not hesitate to odear from them. ( After about 2 years) We'll that was a huge mistake first the size of the portions has cut in half and the price doubled. OK price increase is expected but portion size half come on. Not to mention we get the same exact order at our new favorite restaurant in our new area. Guess what the size at the new place is double and the price for the identical order is atleast 10$ cheaper. So that being said RIP to you bamboo we will never order from you again. I suggest everyone does the same. Food was small, prices high and it just did not even taste like it used to.
