Township Hot Bagels And Deli — Restaurant in Washington Township

The absolute worst customer servic I have EVER experienced! My boyfriend and I stopped in this morning and ordered a simple omelette platter and a bagel sandwich. While we sat there and waited patiently, friends of the owners came about 15 minutes after us and ordered somewhat of the same order - they were served within five-ten minutes of getting there. At this point I was beginning to become frustrated. The owners wife I assume, sat down and ate a meal with their friends while my boyfriend and I still waited. Customer service ? I worked in the food industry for 5 years and NEVER would I stuff my face until all of my customers were served. I put a few dollars down on her table for the drinks we had while waiting and advised that we were leaving because we had then been waiting 35 minutes for a simpl order. She smiled and said “okay no problem” . . Welllll I guess you just don’t care so that’s cool. As long as you enjoyed your meal darling. . We came to another place in Township - “Township Bagel” we were greeted by a wonderful staff, served promptly and enjoyed our meal ! . . Long story short - don’t go to this place unless you enjoy having owners treat you like you don’t exist and treating their friends and themselves before they take...

This place is horrible. The worst owner possible. Thinks he is a big deal because he is from Brooklyn and talks down on every bagel place in the area. The other guy acts like your a inconvenience every time you walk in the store to purchase anything. Very grumpy vibe. Twice the owner gave me back the wrong change after picking up my order. The first occasion I was willing to chalk it up to maybe I wasn't sure the amount of money I handed him. Today on Fathers Day I went to the ATM and pulled out $20 and went to pick up my breakfast order. I gave the owner my $20 for a order that cost $9.86. He gave me back .14 cents and insisted that I did not pay with a $20. This is not in the realm of possibilities because I only had a $20 bill on me from the ATM. He robbed me for $10. If you want to support a low life who thinks he's a big deal and likes to rob his loyal customers this is definitely the place for you. Rys Bagels ten minutes down the road in glassboro is a much better friendlier establishment with better overall bagels and they will be getting my families business from now on. I will repeat DO NOT SUPPORT THE THIEVES AT...

The ATTITUDE of the staff outweighs the quality of the product. Your staff is unfriendly and not welcoming. Guy who works the grill is the most miserably angry person I have ever encountered. If you hate doing business with the public then close up shop. Sorry to inconvenience you by ordering some food. I don't work in your business... I don't know what kinds of bagels & cream cheese you have available. You don't need to get short with me when I ask a question. There's no reason to treat customers like garbage.

To the reader: I have been here a few times before I decided to leave a review because it's a common thread in my experience. There's no reason for bad customer service. They're just not trying...
