Pizza Box — Restaurant in Washington Township

I have been a customer of Pizza Box, along with my entire family,for over 25 years. There have been a few times where we stopped ordering from there for various reasons, but we always went back. Not anymore! We order fairly often and it’s usually bigger orders. I know mistakes happen, but they seem to make more than most. Last time I ordered a small chicken cheesesteak along with several other things and took it to my sister’s house. They sent a chicken steak with overcooked dry chicken and no cheese. I called and they said I could come back but everyone else was already eating so I just shared my daughter’s and they said they would replace it next time I came in. I ordered it today along with another item and went to pick it up. I told the lady at the counter that I had a credit for the sandwich and she got out the book to look it up. Then she said that they were giving me a credit for $3 because it was just missing cheese. Regardless, it wasn’t what I ordered and paid for and it got thrown in the trash. I know it doesn’t seem like a big deal but it seems to be something everytime we go there. They nickel and dime you for every little thing. Even when you are a long time customer. They charged extra for BBQ sauce with chicken fingers because it comes with honey mustard. So if you want Bbq instead, it’s extra. If you want your sandwich toasted, it’s extra. And they are rude about it too! With as many pizza shops as there are in this town, they should learn to appreciate their customers. Cause I won’t...

I can't believe how many people say this place has the BEST pizza!!! If anyone thinks this pizza is the best then you lived inside a box your whole life! The only thing i can say is, people love the owner of this place and he knows them all by first name. Once i seen that i knew i was in for a bad pie. This place is the case of loving the owner so they all give him great reviews. He did seem like a really nice guy and my waiter was very sweet as well. But, the pizza was so bad i eat just 1 slice and couldnt eat another. The only reason why i can't give this place 1 star is because the owner is such a nice guy! Up until the moment of this review, I hadn't had this pizza in ages, i moved from the area years ago, but i have fond memories of my mother taking me to work with her as a child, and some days they would order from Pizza Box, (Sicilian) usually, this was late 80's early 90's, and i would run around the doctors office playing ninja turtles and eating the pizza anyway, i was in the area tonight and ordered a pie, and it's still the same great pizza, it's delicious, whatever the owner is doing, he's doing it right, and i for one will be continuing to support this business, it's GREAT pizza, the sicilian with sweet peppers, is BANGING. PLEASE don't ever change anything...
