Long Valley Bagel — Restaurant in Washington Township

I grew up in LVand left before LV Bagel was established. Fortunately for me I still have family in the valley so I always make a point of stopping in to LV Bagel when I visit. Sometimes you might have to wait but let me tell you, it is worth it! Bagels are great!! Handmade, hard “crisp” outside with a dense, chewy inside but easily consumed!!! Taylor ham egg and cheese on a bagel - a NJ masterpiece, like a Philly Cheese is to Philly.

There is a large variety of bagels and several types of fresh homemade cream cheese. I’ve taken bagels and cream cheese back to NC with me ... slice and freeze and the bagels will last for a long time - no, not the same, but still much better than grocery store bought - and the cream cheese has lasted for almost a week! The other food is good too but I am partial to the bagel!!

My first visit there chatted with owner extremely nice guy. Been stopping there since on way to work. Guy almost made me late for work cos I had such a good time talking with him I didn't want to leave right away. Now I leave earlier to give me time to do my thing.

I stop in here every morning on my way back from work. Whether I’m buying a drink or a sandwich I’m treated like I’m the most important customer in there. That’s how they are with every customer.
