I never order delivery but I'm home recovering from surgery, cannot drive and no one was home to go pick up a hoagie for me. So I paid more for delivery than the cost of the hoagie. it took an hour and a half for it to be delivered from a store that's 4 minutes from my home. My family member finally came home about 5 minutes after it was delivered and they went up to the store in person to get a hoagie for themselves and their sandwich was made in 5 minutes. While other people who ordered online had to wait between an hour and 2 hours. What the heck kind of service is that? Why are orders not completed in the order in which they were received? That's just logical, good sense. This is the worst, most ridiculous experience I ever had with placing an order for a turkey hoagie that probably doesn't even take 5 minutes to make. I will never order delivery from your place ever again. Especially now since I know that you do walk-in orders before online orders, no matter how long ago the poor customer placed their order online. There was barely any lettuce on the hoagie and you didn't even include my pickles. That's the second online order I've done where you did not include what I asked for on the side. It's not rocket...
Read moreThankfully, there are only a few establishments that have reached "never again" status in my culinary code of discipline. Sadly, Primo Hoagies has joined that short list. Where to start? The seeded rolls were almost too seeded and added an odd (almost freeze burnt) taste to the bread. My Italian Hoagie was very sparse and even though I asked for mayo, oil, salt, pepper, and oregano, it still didn't taste flavorful. Worst were the cheesesteaks, however. It made me think of the old Wendy's commercial from the 80's: WHERE'S THE BEEF, it was so lacking in meat. What meat was there was dry. They charged an extra dollar for cheese. On a cheesesteak. You read that right. You paid extra for cheese on a cheesesteak. All in all, we ordered four subpar sandwiches and were charged $60. That's a disgrace in my book. There are far too many delis and bakeries around making decent sandwiches. Primo's needs to step up their game. They can't coast on the name recognition...
Read moreThis Primo's is new to Washington Township and I had fond memories of the Primo's in Bensalem so instead of Johnny Di's I went to try it out. This Primo's is nowhere nothing like Bensalem. I bought 2 Roast Beef hoagies for $13.95 a piece which I thought was high. Then I knew it was high when I got home and saw how little Roast Beef was on the sandwiches. It was like a lettuce and tomato sandwich. One half had one thin slice of meat and I am not exaggerating . What an insult to Washington Township residents that you think you can open up a store and rip off folks with this lousy offering. I won't be back. Liscio's Bakery is across the street and both cheaper, and with more than double the meat on their hoagies which are longer than the primo. ...
