Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Washington Township

This was my sons favorite ice cream go to spot but haven’t been able to come as often being that we now live 30 minutes away. We decided to take a trip back down here to get some ice cream and decided to eat it in the car. Upon eating my ice cream half way through i find a piece of blonde hair in it. Disgusted, I go back in and let the employee know that there was a hair in my ice cream, she apologizes and calls the manager. The manager apologizes and offers to redo my ice cream. The manager herself remakes my ice cream but as she does it the 3 much younger employees snicker and giggle and stare at me as if they are making fun of me after huddling next to each other. I did not appreciate that at all and luckily i no longer let ignorant people get to me or else my kindness and patience with the whole situation would’ve went the total opposite!! I did notice that none of the employees wear hair nets… my advice to this establishment, please require your employees to wear hair nets to prevent this hair in ice cream situation from happening seeing that this is not the first time it’s happened!! And please train your staff on their customer...

I would love to give this place No star but I can't. It was my young daughters Birthday. We ordered this cake before we went on vacation to surprise her when we came home. She had no idea that family from 3 different states were coming to celebrate her big day. Coldstone WAS her favorite place to get a cake or cupcake. After we all sang her the Happy Birthday song and blew out candle's we cut the cake to find a piece of employee hair. It completely gave my daughter a panic attack. My wife called right away to talk to a manager. None could address the situation at hand. A employee gave apologies for the inconvenient problem and asked if would drive to get a new one. At the time it was 8p.m. on a school night. That was not happening! We would be contacted the next day by management. And when my wife was finally contacted by one she was spoken too very rudely and told this was not the first time this has happened and fought with him (jeff) for a full refund. Mortified by the treatment cold stone ice cream has a special place in Hell now. I warn all customers to be very careful when doing business with this...

Sat. 4/13/2024: WHAT AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE!! I paid $17 & change for 2 Lg. Ice creams, 1 of them had brownie mixed in it & the other was plain. I posted Pics.

Let me start with the ice cream here is GREAT when its made by someone that knows what they are doing, if not, well you just wasted $13 on a 1/2 gallon. The customer service.....SUCKS!! ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!! I'm writing this review as I'm sitting here in their parking lot waiting for someone to bring my order out to me. I got here & called @ 8pm I was told it'll be a few mins but someone will be out. I said OK no problem. It is now 8:30 & I'm parked rite outside their side door. The only reason I'm not going in is b/c I ran out w/out shoes. I called & was told Well ur gonna have to wait a bit longer b/c we're really backed up. I said no one can meet me at the side door, they don't even have to come out i'll walk up to the door. She says nope your gonna have to wait a little longer. Now its 8:40pm. REALLY? R THESE...
