The food here is great and reasonably priced! Favorite - ramen with bulgogi and southeast style veggies (although you can’t order ramen for delivery). The quesadilla with bulgogi is also great. They get five stars for the food although I think they would benefit greatly (and so would I) from improving the functionality of their online orders - the veggie options need to be a checkbox and they currently are not. Thanks for this great option on H st!!

Great Korean Fusion food to go. Served in a bowl and not expense, what is there not to love. Service is fast and the staff is friendly. The quality of the ingredient is consistent. Great food all around. Worth a try. The Kalbi is really good!

The beef bulgogi was delicious and so was the bulgogi burger. The dumplings were just fine. They didn't have fountain drink at the time so we had one of the bottled ones. I am not a fan of the seating, it wasn't comfortable.

After going to a slightly disappointing at best Korean fast casual spot in the city, my Monday night dinner buddy and I had low expectations for BAB Korean Fusion, but we were pleasantly surprised. Here's why:

  1. The service: The man at the cashier was super friendly and very helpful. He gave us recommendations and even brought our food to our table.

  2. The food: I ordered bulgogi, white rice, and Southeast veggies and it was perfect. It comes with a friend egg, an avocado, and a lime to squeeze on your rice. It's the perfect amount leaving you content.

  3. The atmosphere: There's plenty of wall and window seating and a fun chalk board across the wall seating.

  4. The quirks: They sell a variety of other fun goods from Korea like banana chips, barley tea, and small yogurt drinks.

If you need a quality fast casual spot on H Street, consider BAB...

4.25* I'm a sauce guy. I don't feel the bulgogi came with enough sauce for my life. However someone else may feel different. Has great flavor the egg was cooked perfectly could have used a little more seasoning on the egg, great flavor, could have used another lime wedge the one that came with was a little too small. Would have liked more jalapenos to come along with the veggies. Great flavor. Pleasantly surprised. Parking a nightmare though. I almost wish they would have curb dash, whatever bring the food out to your car so you can park illegally. I will be back to sample the rest of the menu in totality....

This is one of my neighborhood spots, and my go-to is always the kimchi stew (with pork and tofu! It's especially wonderful on cold days but isn't on the online menus). It comes with rice and I can usually stretch it to 2 (or three) meals with rice I make at home. The bowls and tacos are great too (try with the honey gochuchang shrimp). The owners are the same as the Tony's Breakfast nearby (also a local gem), and the staff are always efficient and...
