Great tacos at a reasonable price. I stopped by for the opening day taco specials at $1.75 but stayed for the ambient. The workers were very attentive and offered suggestions when necessary(even a few off menu items 😉). The restaurant was very organized and had many desserts/snacks to offer. Fruit, cake, flan, etc. The wait time was also quick, I was out within 20 minutes. The only downside is the parking but that's the price you pay when you are in a very condensed area.
Now on to the food, the tacos were phenomenal. They included lots of meat, charred onions, and the spiciest salsa I've had in a long time. Did I mention they were only 1.75? We also purchased a beef soup/stew. It was very tasty and came with tortillas, rice, and a few other toppings.
I would strongly recommend for anyone looking for a great variety of Mexican food at a...
Read moreWow Wow Wow. Finally, a true authentic Mexican near where I live!!! I am ecstatic to stumble upon this hidden gem from a DoorDash promotion!
Menu offering: I haven’t seen a comparable restaurant in the DMV area with such extensive authentic ingredients - I am talking about those tender, juicy, flavorful, succulent meat parts. Cabeza, Cuerito, Buche, Cecina, Lengua, Menudo soup, etc…. Restaurants don’t offer these are not authentic IMO.
Everything I ordered tastes great. Great portion, great price. I also love the pretty and healthy garnish of scallions and watermelon radish.
I would definitely dine in next time. Their menu reminds me of Mexico City.
Sorry folks food was gorged down before I remembered to...

I wanted to love this place so bad. The vibe is cool, the spot is pretty, and the staff is super nice—but the food? Disappointing.
I’ve been here three times and tried the steak tacos, steak quesadilla, and steak fajitas, and every time, the steak was dry, flavorless, and full of fat. It tastes like it was cooked hours before. For a Mexican restaurant, that’s not it. The chicken tacos were decent, but nothing crazy.
Also, I called to place an order, and the lady didn’t speak English, so I couldn’t even order. And the queso? Way too yellow—definitely not authentic.
This place has so much potential, but if they don’t fix their steak and step it up, they’re not gonna last long...
