Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Washington

Been here several times, nothing stands out about it and the Nevada and Francis location is simply better. Service could use work. They instinctively ask for tips, which is obnoxious behavior no matter where you are. It's coffee, you have to go well out of your way to earn gratuity, it should not be seen a standard. On top of that, the last time I was there I was riding in the back of someone else's car. Service was so slow that I decided to hit an old vape pen and blow it down beneath the seats specifically to be less rude to the window. Lo and behold, the second they saw a wisp go by, not in their window at all mind you one of the women working there finally appeared to rudely snap at us not to smoke in the line. Something nobody was doing in the first place. From her tone and reaction I think she had expected to repremand the driver. Which is a shame because they were the one who is a loyal,...

So I have been coming here for years and always loved the down to earth employee base. The employees were so kind, thoughtful, and experts in their craft.

Then sometime in the past year (15-16) a new manager took over. All of a sudden the employees were replaced by young (sometimes snobbish) girls. This was actually most obvious in the music that is played. All of a sudden the music was turned up to an obnoxious level, and instead of a mix of different music, I have only heard something a teenage girl would listen to.

I have nothing against teenage girls (having been one once) but I wanted to impart that the difference in customer service in very different. I no longer enjoy going to this location. It's amazing when one manager can make such a difference and hire such a specific subset of employees. (Almost sexist if you ask me...there used to be such a nice mix of men/women...

Always enjoy when i get to stop in here and get myself a drink. They are always nice and kind and the drinks are tasty! I don't know if its this particular location but i do have to plan ahead if i want to stop for a drink as its normally a 10-15minute line/wait but i don't mind. I almost always get either a rasberry or strawberry black iced tea with soft top (its so good i promise haha drink it fast or drink it slow it tastes good either way) or a blended carmalizer. Both are reasonable and comparable price wise to other locations and im not sure how many people leave comments on the lids but i personally freaking love the lids here. No straws necessary for drinks and thats a nice change of pace! I know they have an app too which im sure would make ordering and points etc even better but i personally dont have it as all the dutch bros in spokane are out of my...
