Bob's Burgers & Brew Birch Bay — Restaurant in Washington

I've been to this location like 3 times & this time was by far the worst... :(

1-Lacked service 1st & foremost: (Dining area wasn't packed either) Waitress couldn't have left our table faster; ordered an appetizer & the serving was huge (big plus) except she dropped it off & left faster than we could ask for any condiments & visited the table way too infrequently. Lastly, upon check out, there was clearly a pile of food still on the plates (that we wanted to carry out) & were just handed the tab, no offers for to-go boxes, & no delay from the waitress for us to even ask... Instead we had to ask another, very kind, waitress who helped us out on the double (kudos to her!).

2-Food quality was sub-par: Ordered a couple sourdough bacon burgers, 1 regular & 1 bleu cheese variant; the difference between the 2 didn't make sense... The bacon on the bleu cheese 1 was so "well done" it was like croutons, seemed old, the bread seemed stale, was almost burnt from being toasted, & it was overall drier than all get out, while the other 1 was very juicy/greasy... Couldn't understand how 1 was so dry & the other was sopping with grease?

All in all, a bad experience this time, which is odd since our last visit wasn't this way at all... & they were *much busier last time.

Gonna do my best to give these guys another shot, we very well may have walked into a "perfect storm" of a day for the waitress/cooks, but customer service is rule #1 in the restraunt biz, not to mention quality of food they're known for: burgers! Hope others don't have the same experience we did...

It was a Monday afternoon on the day we decided to try eating here. We were grateful to be seated outside in the sun but there was plenty of Covid distanced seating inside as well.

Sadly, service was pretty rough for a time which wasn't very busy. I was very specific while placing our order about a simple change needed on my sandwich due to health issues. I also asked for a couple extra sauces to be brought on the side with the order.

The food took longer than usual and when it arrived the order was wrong. The sandwich still had Mayonnaise on it ..which I can't eat. Even if I could have had my meal remade by the ghost of a server, the mustard and ranch weren't brought to the table for use on, what would have been my originally correct and heavenly order OR the new and improved sandwich re-ordered. There wasn't a refill on drinks offered until lunch was almost done and this gal needs refills! Even after my spouse had takena long and relaxed time to eat her meal (and I devoured my fries) ..we fimally had to ask for our bill.

There's one more thing..and it has no bearing on their food or service. Take it from a girl who worked in a plumbers office- the ladies room had the overwhelming odor of a sewer problem. Maybe they had a plumbing issue recently? Maybe it was flooded? Maybe a rat died in their pipes, and no-one there can smell the odor that made a woman with a strong stomach gag? It could be a huge turn-off for those who are sensitive to...

Big parking lot surrounding the building. The building itself is nicely done. Some outside seating available. Atmosphere is open and relaxing. Furnishing is tastefully done and comfortable. Wifi works great.

We were greeted promptly and were offered a choice of sections to sit. After a little wait, our drinks order were taken. When the drinks came, we placed our order of a burger and a chicken burger.

The food came in reasonable time. The burger was not bad, but not exciting. The regular fries were good. The steak fries were better. The chicken was super dry and bland. We wanted some other sauce, like hot sauce, to go with it, so we looked for our waitress. We didn't see her for a long time. And when we finally saw her, it was difficult to get her attention. Finally, after a long wait, we got her attention, and she brought us some hot sauce that finally made the chicken more palatable.

The building atmosphere is nice. The food is hit and miss. Service could be a lot more attentive. The place works as a rest stop to get...
