Chi Cha Lounge — Restaurant in Washington

On 6/7/2025 I visited this establishment. Upon arriving and placing my order I was asked for a credit card for them to keep on hold while I set at the bar. I Purchased three drinks . Was told by the server my total was $80. My friend asked, could he pay instead of them charging my card they told him yes gave me my card back to his card for the purchase. WhenI asked for a receipt I was told the machine wasn’t working and they were out of paper.. three days later I was charged $300. My friend was charged $36. I have reached out to the manager who informed me he was going to look into it. He asked me to send him the last 4,of our CC and the amounts changed abs he would get back to me. He got back to me a week later stating he was waiting on a transaction report that should be available on a non-business day. (A weekend) I never heard from him again and he blocked me from being able to contact him. After reading reviews, this is something that this business does regularly scam and steal people’s money.. unfortunately without a receipt, I can’t dispute it with my bank, even though I’ve tried. They know exactly what to say and how to scam people...

had such a great time at Chi Cha Lounge definitely one of those spots that just hits all the right notes. The vibe was on point the whole night. Chill but lively, good music, and just a great energy overall.

The food was actually so good — way better than I expected for a lounge/club setting. And the happy hour prices? Can’t beat it.

What really made the night special, though, was the people. The owners were super sweet and welcoming, and the manager made sure we were comfortable from the jump. Our server was amazing really attentive, had such good energy, and made us feel like we were being taken care of the entire time.

Honestly, it’s one of those places you go to once and immediately start planning your next visit....

This establishment is a complete scam. They pick and choose the prices that they want to charge a customer. I had 6 drinks and my tab was almost $400. The manager claimed that their 1942 bottles sell for $800 and they charged me $60 a shot. She could not pull up in their system where it shows the price for the 1942 or Azul. She was only able to show me the price for the whole bottle. This was my first experience and my last. I sat next to a lady that was a regular and she was dumbfounded that they charged me the price they did when she has never paid a price like I did. The security outside recommended that I speak with the owner because he VERBATIM told me I was robbed. Do NOT support this...
