My wife and I spent the weekend before Christmas in DC and we love experiencing high-class gentlemen’s clubs wherever we travel.  There are several choices in DC but none can match the service, composure and professionalism that we experienced at The Cloakroom.  We would go so far as to say from New York to Miami, this has been our favorite.  The moment we reached the door, the staff was very polite, professional and engaging, instantly setting the tone for the evening.  Once we were two steps in the door, we were greeted by Tony G. and thus began an evening we will never forget.  Tony was an impeccable host and the best Guest Services personnel we’ve ever encountered at a gentlemen’s club.

Tony gave me the full tour of the premises while leaving my beautiful wife in the amazing company of Rebecca and the other ladies in the VIP room.  The mixture of Old DC on the outside and the “South Beach” feel meets “vintage leather” classiness on the inside just plain works.  Mix in some of the most beautiful women on the East coast and it quickly approaches a feeling of euphoria that is second to none.  It really must be experienced (not just seen) to be appreciated.

This club is high-end, so act accordingly and you’ll be treated accordingly.  The staff is incredible, the drinks are some of the best I’ve had anywhere and the girls are just phenomenal.  This is so much more than a night out at a strip club, it is a total sensory experience.  We highly recommend a private dance or two…Rebecca and Dylan took amazing care of us and we will be back soon!  We didn’t get bottle service that night, but if you’re going to have a few drinks while you’re there you should definitely get it.  The price for the service you receive is outstanding.

I was on a Monday night with friends in this club. We were there before 10pm and it was already a well visited. Staff, host and dancers were very welcoming and friendly.

Admission was $ 20 per person without drink. A beer cost $ 11. The club looked new and modern. In the middle of the room, there was a large stage the dancers had danced on one after the other and stripped completely naked. The dancers were not shy of showing their whole body and beautifully presented themselves well on stage. Some female dancers were also able to include the two high poles on the stage really well in their performance.

As a guest you can sit by the bar (in between you and the stage), or at the side on armchairs. Although you could not sit directly at the stage, view was still good. The advantage was that no tip was expected from the dancers. Of course, you could still go to the stage and tip the dancers. In that case, dancers showed their appreciation and presented themselves again in detail from close proximity.

For $ 40 there was a personal dance in one of the open lounges. You can to take several people to this dance. The dance lasted two songs long. The dancer stripped completely naked and danced and theased without body contact from close range on the lounge table.

A private dance for an individual in a separated room was $ 150 per 10-minute interval, allegedly allowing body contact.

Overall, the entire staff, including female dancers, was very friendly and not at all intrusive, which I appreciated. Great club with a pleasant atmosphere, where there is something for everyone.

The bar ladies could have dressed a bit more liberal and the prices for private dances are ridiculous compared to other comparable...

There is a 20 cover (and it doesn’t come with a drink as some previous reviewers indicated). Again, I get they do it because if they didn’t some dudes would just camp out, not tip, or buy drinks. If I gotta pay $20 in drinks or $20 in cover, that makes no nevermind to me. They would not let me wear my baseball cap and I got mixed feelings about it. I’m a pretty ugly dude so it’s really in the interest of all the staff and patrons as much of my face to be covered up as possible. I would have preferred it if the bouncer told me outside so I could have just left but the guy who advised me of the rule at the cover cashier was professional and courteous-no drama. The aesthetic layout of the club is probably the best in DC when it comes to the strip club milieu. I wouldn’t say they’re #1 when it comes to dancers but they’re not last either. When I got in at 1 am they had like all the dancers go up on the stage at once; there must have been like 15+ ladies. It almost made me raise an eyebrow which is a HUGE compliment from a dude like me (trust me - you don’t want to know). The music is fine; I’ve never been to a strip club where the music is good (to me) but it’s good for TNA shaking which is the point, right? All the staff: bouncer, greeter dude (see above), bartenders, most of the dancers (find me a club with 100% awesome dancers and send me their address, please), check in peeps, were all excellent. The sound system itself was solid. All the ladies are hot - I mean - obviously. I can’t find any flaws with Cloakroom’s fit.
