Cowgirl's Coffee (Spanaway) — Restaurant in Washington

I live nearby, so I'd love to stop spending my money at Starbucks and instead support the local economy, BUT small shops make it very hard with flat spritzers. I mean, it's bad enough of a rip-off to spend $5-$8+ on a quarter-can of energy drink mixed with syrup and a full cup of ice, but flat, too?! Tastes like you save opened leftover energy drink cans in the fridge, even if you don't. For $10, the whole can is a decent sale. I'm ugly, I get it, but service stinks. It is painfully slow, I get it. You guys are good. And it boosts business to be kind, to be nice, to be sweet. All I ask for is better coffee, better service so I can stop spending my money at the bad guys who make fresh coffee and drinks at lightning fast service, and are friendly even to the uglies like me. 5 stars, nonetheless, for that forced smileless, "Hi." The coffee was pretty good, and if I was basing this off the coffee itself I'd probably give it a 4 star rating. The girl that was working was nice enough but when we went to pay she took the money and then said "have a nice day" and closed the window, not giving us our change and assuming it would be her tip. I always tip $1-2 dollars for a coffee after I get my change back, but for her to just assume my change was her tip was really rude. I only had $15 until I get paid so I really didn't have change to spare. Most likely won't come back, and I highly recommend Cafe Elite instead. I love the girls at this stand! Coffee always taste great and not to sweet. The flowers are beautiful to look at every summer. I come in every single morning 7 days a week and have been faithfully for 3 years. I will not go anywhere else and they must be under great management if all the girls are staying and really hasn't had new staff. I feel if employees start dropping like flies it's a problem. I will support this local business faithfully over any other coffee stand around my house.
