This is by far the worst Dairy Queen I’ve ever seen — not just to work at, but to eat at too. It’s a franchise, but they run it like it’s their house. There’s no professionalism, no cleanliness, no standards. Just chaos.
The manager, who is Indian, literally cooks her own Indian food in the Dairy Queen fryers during personal celebrations. So yes — your fries, chicken strips, and onion rings are being cooked in the same oil as someone’s personal curry. Completely unsanitary and absolutely not what you’d expect from a fast food chain.
One day I watched her open a bag of buns that had visible mold, and instead of tossing the whole bag (like anyone with common sense or food safety training would), she dug through it to find “good” ones. Like mold doesn’t spread?! Disgusting and unsafe.
The boss yells at the employees regularly and treats people with no respect. Instead of leadership, you get intimidation. The work environment is toxic, loud, and miserable. It’s a stressful place to be, especially for younger workers or anyone new to the job.
There’s also a sweet older kitchen lady — nearly 70 years old — who is working full-time, constantly overwhelmed and overworked. It’s heartbreaking to see her struggling while the management just stands around yelling or gossiping.
This location does not follow proper food handling, doesn’t treat employees right, and clearly doesn’t care about the customers either. If you’re thinking of working here — don’t. If you’re thinking of eating here — you’ve been warned.
Unprofessional. Unsanitary....
Read moreI am writing to WARN everybody of this place. I am a 16 year old who worked there for a entire month and already left. The wife there named Ronnie NEVER wears gloves or washes her hands, although the husband Kim is very good about doing that and reminds everyone to do it. My managers are never there and when I get there they leave and leave a bunch of 15, 16, and one 17 year old to run the whole place and once even had a 16 year old close the place because they never came back. On one night we all had to call 911 because a man overdosed on heroin in the bathroom, of course managers were not there. My mangers had me doing kitchen all by myself and there was thousands of things to do, plus they had me working over the legal limit I am allowed to work at 16 years old. What made me quit was not all this, it was my mother who made me quit after i was taking out the garbage one night around 9:00 pm and was almost abducted. Lastly During one day a lady at drive ordered like 4 cheese burgers and we started making them. When she got to drive thru she realized it costed to much and didn't want them. We had already had the buns toasted and the mustard, ketchup, and pickles on all 4. My mangers told me to re-use the buns with the toppings on them if anyone ordered this burger. It was so gross and you couldn't reheat the bun even if you wanted because if you put it in the toaster the toppings will come off. I through it away and was so...
Read moreI requested my daughter's birthday cake on Nov 14 with a requested pick-up date of 11/29 at 3pm. When I arrived, I was told by the owner that she thought the cake wasn't due until Sunday. I had to show her the confirmation email showing 11/29 at 3pm. The cake wasn't even STARTED. The Mgr literally told me "3 minutes" for the amount of time it would take her to decorate the cake. We waited patiently.
Once she was done, she rang me up at full price ($38). I refused to pay full price for HER mistake. She tried to tell me, "$3 is all I can do," (because that's her profit on the cake) and I told her that I didn't think I should have to pay at all. She refused to give me the cake for free. We haggled and ultimately settled on $27 total, which was still WAY MORE than I should have been paying. I will NOT be returning to this particular location for an ice cream cake again. Pictures attached showing what the cake was supposed to look like and then what we actually received. I would definitely NOT recommend this location to anyone.
The only "good" thing(s) I could say about my experience is at least we could read the writing on the cake, and my daughter loved it. So thanks for...
