Tried this place for the lunch buffet that is posted on their website. Guess it wasn't happenin? We decided to stay and try it because my mom has had her eye on this place for a while and was waiting for someone to try it with her. We ordered coconut chicken curry, special chicken curry, and hawaiian pizza. We were done ordering and one of the people (maybe owner? he took our order but said he was a chef too) insisted we get samosas as an appetizer. My mom didn't want to say no more than once so she was pressured into ordering veggie samosas. They were SUPER delicious and flavorful, not complaining at all about the food! It was just awkward for us because we both said no thank you and he stood there and insisted we get an appetizer. He asked us what flavor naan we wanted and I ordered coriander flavor but again he suggested I get garlic naan because he said it was more flavorful. I said that's ok I'd like coriander which I think may have translated to "I'll take garlic" because that's what came out. I didn't want to correct it. All the food was delicious, flavorful, and with just the right amount of heat. Rice was cooked perfectly and the waiters were very hospitable and kind, they answered our curious questions about what the babad was and where the recipes came from. The atmosphere was a little maybe too intimate for me, given it was small and we were the only customers there. It was noon and they had prayers or chanting playing which was a little nerve wracking because I wasn't sure if we were talking too loud or being rude and we were the only people making noise. Overall we really enjoyed the food, service was pretty good, and we would definitely recommend this place to everyone. Our new favorite Indian restaurant. Also my son approved of the pizza, naan, rice, curry, and mango lassi. Something for everyone. Be prepared to...

Read moreThe wife and I were looking for a new place to try and found this place on yelp but it had no reviews so we figured we would give it a try. We ordered the vegetable manchurian, vegetarian appetizer sampler, butter chicken, roasted black pepper chicken and navratan korma. I will start off by saying that the service was great and the staff is friendly and attentive. As for the dishes first off is the vegetable manchurian not as crispy as we expected but it was good it consists of a fritter that has a texture reminiscent of a meatball and a warm sauce with a soy and chili flavor that was pleasant to the palette. Next is the vegetarian sampler the spring rolls were nice and crispy on the outside and good plain I however thought it was good dipped in the manchurian sauce as well kicking it up another notch. The paneer pakora was just battered and fried paneer nothing too special, the aloo tiki was warm and flavorful potato and the somosa was creamy and delicious on the inside also warming with every bite fantastic. For the butter chicken the presentation was very nice and it had a stronger han usual cardamom flavor that I really enjoyed. The roasted black pepper chicken was a new one for us had delightful pepper kick to it and we quite enjoyable. The last dish was the navratan korma it had a strong pea and green bean flavor to it which I did not find disagreeable and would have again. They also gave us a mango Lassi to try it was not as sweet as ones we have had at other places and it had great mango flavor. In conclusion I look forward to...
