The trail itself is paved great for walking, riding bikes or scooters, walking your dog etc but this specific start on 128th (by mariner highschool) and going north is a little sketchy. So many homeless people, garbage and graffiti everywhere. Also parking is hard to find but doable. I parked somewhat near the fire station area near these apartments right by the trail head. Which was another sketchy part of the trip. Didn't feel like my car was safe. There's quite a few people on the trail at all times which makes things feel a tad bit safer because most of them are there to run/walk , but there was a few questionable groups of people just huddled together. There is just so much garbage, empty beer bottles, random clothes everywhere, as well as hidden homeless people through out some areas. I brought my kids thinking it was a great adventure to scooter but we soon realized we probably will never be back lol we walked across the bridge that goes over I-5 which on the other side is a very nice neighborhood, and apartment complex, it is a lot less sketchy, kept cleaner and maintained extremely well, which is what you see mainly...

I was on my bike and it was fine, but I wouldn't have felt comfortable walking past them. Tons of garbage everywhere as well. It's a shame the city doesn't address these issues.
