The pizzas were good. It was the service that was terrible…specifically an employee named Gary. I placed an online order for delivery; left additional instructions to deliver at 5pm same day (as I placed the order earlier around 1:15pm.) and call me when driver is near residence. After submitting my online order, the screen didn't refresh to indicate that my order went through. I checked my email and saw a confirmation email. I opened up the email and read through it to ensure it’s correct. I noticed that it said my order was going to be delivered in 18-29 minutes; which was not what I wanted. So I decided to call the restaurant. Gary answered and I was explaining to him about my request on specific delivery time. He responded, with a rude tone, that I should’ve called immediately upon placing the order to let them know about the delivery instructions and proceeded to tell me that it’s too late because my order has already been placed in the oven. I explained to him that I had put the instructions on the online order. He then said that they don’t read the additional instructions until after the order has been placed in the oven.🤷🏻♀️ I explained to him that I called as soon as I verified that my order actually went through (receipt of confirmation email) and after reading through the email. He responded in a very rude manner by telling me I should learn how to use the app.…or something to that nature. I didn’t hear his last word because by then I was getting frustrated with his tone and manner. I also told him to go ahead and deliver when the order is ready; since they already put it in the oven. He said, “No, we’ll deliver on time requested”. Again, I said it’s okay, just deliver when it’s done. And again, he said no…no, we’ll deliver on time requested. So we ended the conversation with that. Almost an hour later, my sister informed me that the pizzas were already delivered (at her house), and was left on the porch with no one being aware that it was already delivered. I didn’t check the box “leave on front porch” and specifically instructed to call me when the driver is near the house so I can have someone come out to receive the order. According to Gary (when I called back to tell him about the delivery service), he said the driver tried calling via the app but the call was not going though. And I can understand that, but the driver should’ve at least rang the doorbell; that way someone will know to check the front porch. Bottom line: I was not pleased with the customer and delivery service…specifically Gary who took my call. It’s just unfortunate for me as I left a pretty good tip via online. To the manager: please teach your staff about customer service on the phone and in person and maybe read through the entire online order…to include the additional instructions…before processing/making order. I’ve ordered from Dominos many times and this is the very first time I’ve ever experienced this. I don’t think I’ll be ordering from this particular location...
Read moreI am so disappointed. I tried to order online for 45 minutes just to have it not go through. Seeing as I live just 3 minutes away and this simple cheese pizza I was trying to order was for my "hormone enraged Domino's pizza craving pregnant sister" I decided to drive to the store and talk to them in person since the 5 times I tried to call they didn't want to answer. When I got there, I went to the door where a woman stood no more than 5ft from me as I knocked, she acted as if she couldn't see or hear me. ( she was looking right at me). Thank God a very kind delivery driver pulled up and I proceeded to tell him what my problem was. He assured me that it most likely wouldn't be an issue and to give him just a moment while he ask his boss who I'm assuming was the kind woman who left me standing in the freezing cold while she ignored me. I could tell he didn't want to be coming back to the door to tell me that she said there is nothing they can do and she is closing down. Mind you, this is all before midnight when they are supposed to close. I understand it is late and I'm sure she just wanted to get home but how hard could it have been to just make a simple cheese pizza? Now I get to go tell my hormone enraged Domino's pizza craving pregnant sister that she doesn't get her pizza after waiting the last hour and a half. I am also very frustrated because I already wrote this review twice and for some reason it is not posting. Smh. What happened to "treat people the way you want to be treated? " 😔 Oh and I wasn't able to get the woman's name but she works at the 12221 pacific store and she...
Read moreI am extremely disappointed. I tried for the past 45 minutes to place a delivery order online from this store. For some reason, it kept redirecting me to call the store. I tried and no one picked up the phone, multiple times. Seeing as this simple cheese pizza was for my "dominos cheese pizza crazing pregnant sister" I decided to drive to this store and pray they would help me. (I only live 3 minutes away). Upon arriving, I walked up to the door and knocked multiple times, watching as the lady inside could see me but acted like I wasn't there. Thank goodness a very nice delivery driver pulled up and I told him my dilemma. He told me that it shouldn't be an issue just give him a minute to go ask his boss who I assume is woman who blatantly ignored me as I stand in the freezing cold knocking at the door. Well, wouldn't you know, she said nope and smiled. The gentleman was very kind and I could tell he didn't want to have to come tell me. I do understand that it is late but they deliver until midnight and I started trying to place my order at about 11:15pm and got to the store before midnight and I just don't understand why making a simple cheese pizza could have been so rough. 😔 so now with over an hour of my time wasted, I get to go tell me hormone enraged pregnant sister that I couldn't get her pizza after she has now been waiting over an hour. I wasn't able to get the woman's name but she works at the 12221 pacific location and has blue hair. What happened to "treat people the way you want to be...
