When I tell you this place came through, it really did! I just wanted a quick bite and found out this spot has the vegan eats, score. Of course the name threw me off cause I'm no glizzy gobbler but I got over that quickly. Anyway, I was fortunate enough to get the mushroom tacos. I don't even like mushrooms but after my first bite I was like, "mushrooms where?". I forgot the tacos were vegan. There was so much flavor in the food. I gobbled it down quickly (pause). I couldn't ask for a better vegan taco. It hit the spot and was right on time. It appears that they have a rotating menu with different food options on different days. So you know I have to go back. I was pleased with the service too. The guys behind the counter really believe in the food and the importance of eating healthy. I'm so glad I found this spot before I made any careless decisions to eat anything else. If you're ever in the area, do yourself a favor and...
Read moremy first time stopping by was exciting! the guy who took my order was patient and friendly. we ordered Nachos which were bursting with flavors and i appreciate that they used kidney beans. the Plant-based Glizzy i got had so much potential but had little to no flavor. the onions, peppers, cheese sauce, lentil chili and even the plant-based hot dog didn’t seem to have no seasoning; no salt nor pepper. btw, i ate the glizzy first
all in all, the shopping center in which it is held is so nice and is expanding in business. they have many businesses owned by kids as well, a health conscious convenient store & smoothie shop, a farmers market, and other food companies
my real issue is upon arriving and departing this space is that no one really greeted you nor said thank you or goodbye which i think should be important
as someone who has grew up on this side of town, i am SO proud...
Read moreWent there around 2:15 pm today. The young woman with brown locs gave me an extremely mean look & asked if I was going to order. I stated, in a friendly manner, that I was trying to decide between fries, onion rings, & corn. The two other women beside her said they didn't have fries or corn. I asked for a carrot dog, & was told they didn't have carrots. I stood off to the side while another customer came up & ordered. She was met with smiles, & asked how she was. The man behind her ordered a carrot dog, the woman with locs began processing his order until the customer originally behind me reminded them that they were out of carrots. I will never come here again. I have already mentioned this ordeal to 2 people & intend to tell many more. This is a terrible way to treat paying polite customers. I really hate that I was treated this way, & am honestly trying to understand why...
