Guffey's — Restaurant in Washington

Very very disappointed tonight. We've had issues several other times, but tonight was the final straw for us. We ordered 3 appetizers for each of us, they came out super quick. We waited probably another 20 minutes and our daughter's pizza and mine came out. They were 12 inches specialty pizzas, and my husband just ordered a 9 inch pepperoni. Ours came and no mention of his. We waited at least 20 minutes before I had my husband go ask if they forgot to make his. The waiter said "oh it should have been done" by this time my daughter and I were already done eating, and ready for to go boxes. The waiter continues to go about his business, no apology, no nothing. Easily another 10 minutes go by before his pizza comes out, at this point we're just ready to leave. The only thing that is said is "your first pizza got stuck" no apology still, nothing. And I'm sorry but at this point you should have been able to make 4-5 pizzas and had them to us. When we go out to eat it's supposed to be us eating as a family. My daughter's and my food was boxed up and ready to go before he got his pizza. Our bill was 84 dollars for 3 of us, insane for the inconvenience we went through. His pizza at least should have been comped at a minimum. As I said this isn't the first time we had a bad experience there, but we do like their food and they're the only place that has gluten free boneless wings that I can eat with having celiac. My in-laws had bad service last time to start out with but brought us here because they like the pizza. We got here and they don’t have high chairs, which was a pain holding a one year old for over an hour and trying to eat. We had to ask for napkins, with three kids, and refills. This was towards the end of our meal. Our waitress who has been a ghost, only coming out of her hobbit hole of the kitchen to bring us our food. She brings us 5 drink coaster napkins saying here’s some extra napkins , but we never got them to begin with. 5 napkins for 4 adults and 3 kids…. She asked for Togo boxes and we said yes we need… she turns and walks away and comes back with one big box for all of our food. I started saying we need more boxes and she turned around and headed back to the kitchen. I had to go ask for more boxes. We had two pizzas and two kids meals and she brought one box. I don’t know who taught these kids how to work Service but someone needs to teach them quick. I felt like our waitress avoided us the whole time and hid in the kitchen. She couldn’t even look at us to say have a nice night. She just barked it out while looking away from us halfway across the restaurant. Food is good price is fair, and really good pizza. Great food, bad customer service. I ordered 11/2 at 8:36pm. I arrived to the restaurant at 9:06pm cashed my Togo order out at 9:16. I ordered a 16 piece bone-in wings, a large 3 topping pizza, and pretzel bites. I received boneless which is a HUGE difference even though the “price is the same.” I did not realize my wings were wrong until I got home to Union. I wanted to eat my food while it was semi-hot still like any normal person would. I knew the restaurant was closing, and would have been closed by the time I could make it back to the restaurant if they were able to correct my order. I figured it would be no big deal to call the next day, WRONG. I called once I got off work, and they were no help and basically accusing me trying to get free food. The manager never offered to speak with me. The worker said that since the register is closed out theirs nothing they can do refund wise or checking for proof of purchase. I had a receipt, I have my phone log of calling them for my Togo order and a photo of my $20 saucy chicken nuggets. For a family owned local restaurant they did not care at all to fix the issue for me, offer me ANYTHING for my unhappiness. I also left a 20% tip on a to go order. They definitely lost...
