Traditional Japanese hibachi and sushi made quickly. I only tried the hibachi chicken to give it its first try. I like how the chicken was cut into chunks vs thin cuts which made it very moist. Would of liked to see more veggies. It had a nice flavoring, after seeing some of the sushi rolls come out for other people, I will give it a try. One thing to remember here is this is an express restaurant, while the quality may not be on par with sit down restaurants, it is priced accordingly. Hot tip: call in your order ahead of time to shorten you wait time. *Update* Tried 6 rolls tonight and the veggie noodles. The veggie noodles were very well cooked and flavorful, will def be eating these again. The sushi to us was just average if that but we did only try the more common cheaper rolls. Having lived in several major cities I’ve had more than my fair share of sushi. I feel some needed spicy mayo and or eel sauce which I will order next time for added flavor. Spicy Crab Alaska New Orleans Shrimp Tempura Spicy Tuna I will say for fast food style sushi it’s a quick fix and for 5-6.00 rolls you get 8 pieces. It is a nice addition to Washmo and with no other Japanese competition I see it doing well with the locals. 4 stars for the hibachi and noodles 3 stars for the sushi

This was really good for WashMO. Is it fancy? Is it like being in Japan? No to both, but it's good and it's done well. Our rolls were made fresh to order. I like that they actually fill and cover them with fish, cucumber, cream cheese, avocado, etc instead of having them be mostly rice with a little bit of the good stuff. The rice layer was thin, in my opinion... Which is a good thing. The flavors were on point and I like the variety they offer. I also really enjoyed my conversation with DD and learning more about the restaurant. I thought the prices were fair for how filling the rolls are. Bottom line is that I enjoy this sushi joint. I've had it a few times... And I plan to have it again.

Hello to my friends at Hoshi Japanese. I have been coming to this store since day 1 the store opened. I have received phenomenal service for the past few years from every single employee. They know me by name when I walk in and I always get the same thing!!! I always order The Goblin Roll! Topped with crab meat, soy sauce, and filled with cream cheese and avocado, this is my favorite thing to order. Thank you guys for being honest, well priced, and having better quality food than expensive restaurants in the city. You guys are awesome! Happy Thanksgiving and have a great holiday!!!!

My experience here was very unfortunate. My boyfriend and I went here to get take out for a date thinking it would be nice since we both love sushi! Unfortunately it wasn't that good of an experience. The place itself wasn't bad, it was small and kinda beat up but nothing terrible. The food on the other hand was...pretty bad to say the least. The hibachi was lacking flavor it just tasted like pepper, the meat was very tough and chewy and the veggies were mush. The sushi was so bad me or my boyfriend couldn't even go in for a second bite...keep in mind we spent about 70+ dollars here for us to pretty much just not eat it..I almost immediately ran to the bathroom and threw up because it had made me so sick! Now I am not one to leave bad reviews because I do not like talking bad about someone's company but this was just so devastating and such a let down. I personally wouldn't recommend this place, it's not for me but it may be someone...
