Ichi 16 Teriyaki — Restaurant in Washington

I have always had great service at itchi 16 teriyaki until today. I ordered over the phone my usual, Korean fried chicken and when I got home I ended up getting sweet and sour Chicken. I called to let them know I got the wrong dish and immediately the girl started arguing with me and telling me I was wrong. I have never ordered sweet and sour as it is not something I care for. So I know for a fact she ordered the wrong dish. After more of her arguing she said I can bring it back right now and they will replace my dish. I explained I was not able to come back another 15 minutes out of my way and that I wanted to be credited for another day. She refused! At this point they have lost my business along with others I know due to their lack of customer service. I don't know the girls name but she has very long eye lashes, you can't miss her! I hope management sees this so they can properly train her or they will continue to lose business! Very sad as business is so desperately needed in...

I used to love this place - and this location specifically. The prices have gone up quite a bit, while the quality of the food and the service has gone down. I paid $30 for two to-go chicken teriyaki meals. The spicy bowl didn't come with any teriyaki sauce. The dinner came with only one tiny cup of teriyaki sauce - not nearly enough for both the chicken and the rice. The chicken was served dry and had no sauce on it. The salad dressing used to be really good, too, but was watery and flavorless. The owner used to be in the store regularly and was always so friendly. I called to comment-complain and was told that's just how it is...that i should have known to ask for "extra" if I wanted more. I wonder if the management and/or ownership has changed. I used to recommend this to anybody but now it is dirty he's to be one of the cleanest restaurants I'd ever gone to the service used to be friendly. They were playing rap music what a drag and yeah the tables were dirty and sticky the gal at the counter running the register had no idea what to do she was just standing there entire time and The soup pot was almost empty it's always full the place usually smells like bleach which means it's really clean and the owner is dancing around taking care of everybody I don't know where she was but there was no one in there today and usually at lunchtime the line is out the door and it's very much worth the wait won't be going back here anytime soon hopefully they change back to their original owners and thank you for the compliment on...
