6/3/2024 update**** Indigo Restaurant in Lynnwood, WA, offers an extremely delicious dining experience with perfect lighting that enhances the ambiance. My kids and I enjoyed a flavorful array of dishes, including nachos, quesadillas, tacos, and bread pudding. Each dish was bursting with flavor and generous in portion size, though half servings would be appreciated for those who prefer not to take leftovers home. The service was fantastic and courteous, making our visit enjoyable from start to finish. Indigo Restaurant is a delightful spot for a hearty and flavorful meal. ________________ *******_____________ Indigo Kitchen and Alehouse in Lynnwood, WA, offers a delightful culinary experience that marries flavors and ambiance. The nachos with shredded chicken immediately set the tone with a huge portion size, easily satisfying four people. The blend of crispy nacho chips, savory shredded chicken, and accompanying toppings made for a crowd-pleasing starter. The Brussel Sprouts in balsamic reduction emerged as a standout dish, bursting with flavor. The balsamic reduction complemented the Brussels sprouts perfectly, creating a harmonious balance of sweet and savory. The chicken tacos upheld authenticity, delivering a delicious and satisfying experience that showcased the kitchen's commitment to culinary excellence. While the food was a highlight, parking posed a challenge during busy hours. The ambiance was inviting, but the dim lighting seemed insufficient. Brighter lighting could enhance the visual appeal of the dishes, allowing patrons to fully appreciate the presentation of the amazingly tasting creations. Service at Indigo Kitchen and Alehouse was commendable, with a friendly and prompt staff ensuring a positive dining experience. The attention to detail in delivering excellent food was evident throughout the meal, adding to the overall satisfaction of the visit. In summary, Indigo Kitchen and Alehouse excels in offering a culinary journey marked by flavorful dishes and a welcoming ambiance. The nachos, Brussel Sprouts, and chicken tacos exemplify the kitchen's commitment to quality and authenticity. While parking may be challenging at peak times, and the dim lighting could be improved, the overall dining experience is elevated by friendly service and outstanding food. Pros: 1. Flavorful and generous portion sizes, particularly the nachos. 2. Standout dishes like Brussel Sprouts in balsamic reduction showcase culinary excellence. 3. Authentic and delicious chicken tacos. 4. Friendly and prompt service adds to the positive dining experience. Cons: 1. Parking can be difficult during busy hours. 2. Dim lighting may impact the visual presentation of dishes.

Brunch. Chicken Po'boy for her, fried chicken n waffle for me. CnW - boneless fried breast n thigh. Oil temp must have been a bit low, the breast (thicker piece) was wet w oil and when I moved it, small puddle under it. Tasty though, good fried chicken seasoning. Waffle was decent, both the maple and the brown-butter/pecan syrups were good. Had to ask for extra butter, was a very small portion. Enjoyed a taster (asked for) of the chorizo/jalapeno gravy. Coffee was Cafe D'Arte. CP'b - looked good, came with semi-spicy 'slaw. Heard happy sounds from across the table so it must've been good. Roll was good, could have been hollowed out just a bit. There was chicken in every bite tho. Her bloody mary had a nice non-traditional seasoned salt rim. Spice was milder-side for drink. Staff did great (Thx Jason!), very attentive w/o being intrusive. We noted that sound levels were well controlled, noting the hanging sound panels throughout. We will be back

Today was my first time ever going here. I was really excited as I’ve been recommended this place before and have heard so many good things about it! After eating there today I can say I’m a little disappointed by the food and the service. I got the chicken tacos, they were okay but definitely not worth the price. There wasn’t a lot of flavor and the food was just a little bland.

Separately, the main reason I’m leaving this review is our server. He was relatively nice but he was DEFINITELY trying to get us out of there. We walked in right at 11:30 and had only been there an hour and he kept coming to our table asking if we were finished and if we needed boxes. We kept saying no we’re good until he kept coming i eventually just said yes I’ll take a box so he would stop coming by. I was meeting up with a friend I hadn’t seen in a minute so we were just trying to sit and talk and enjoy the atmosphere. He didn’t even ask us if we were ready for the bill and then just brought it and took my plate, he came back immediately and grabbed the bills and our cards. I get it can be annoying when people sit and talk for a while but we weren’t even there the full hour and he was already gearing up for us to leave. If I’m paying for food I’m going to sit and enjoy it and don’t really appreciate being rushed out.

Probably won’t go again just because the food was mid and the server was trying to rush us out. I didn’t catch his name but he was shorter and had glasses and we were sat by the booths next to the bathroom if that helps...

So disappointed! A friend raved about Indigo, and we were really looking forward to sampling this fantastic menu! Unfortunately we went on a cold and windy Saturday when the restaurant was very busy. Didn't know to join the virtual waitlist in advance, so we had a long, freezing wait in front of the heavy door that e.v.e.r.y.o.n.e. struggled to open and then struggled to shut. We gazed longingly at the empty table for two that stood vacant while the hostesses busied themselves seating larger parties who arrived after us. Finally we asked if our turn would come soon, and they told us they'd tried calling four minutes earlier. We hadn't heard our phone over the pounding loud music that apparently some people think is fun to yell over (not us), and it seemed a little strange that the hostesses wouldn't have checked to see if that was the case. Nevertheless we were happy to finally be shown to a table. Not the warm one still sitting vacant in the center for some reason. As it turned out, the table we waited so long for was right next to another heavy door that several staff struggled to open, and then just left open, to visit a single person braving the cold on the patio - a manager? Each time we got blasted with cold air and had to get up to close the door ourselves. After four times getting up to close the door before anyone even came to our table we decided to just leave. Maybe we will have another opportunity to visit and sample this fantastic menu on a warmer, less busy day,. But so many restaurants, so...
