So I order from here already 4 times first time it was good. Second time they burn the pizza I didn’t want to complain on here so I called them and just tell them if they can please do not burn the pizza because it didn’t taste how usually test so I go head and order a 3 time and the pork or whatever is it they didn’t cook well so not to go long me and my wife had the worst pain in the belly and i look at the rest of the pizza and I found out they didn’t cook the pork well. And if u tell them to cook it well they burn the pizza not sure wit what intention they do but if they can’t cook a pizza please take it out of u menu. I don’t usually write this review but I gave them 4 chances and the last is the pic that u see but never ordering from u guys hope u guys had inspection because my box have black marks that were stink if u put u nose close to it. I would never try again from this place maybe others. Have different experience but I don’t appreciate you guys making my belly hurt for a uncook pork

Visiting from Texas and decided to order from this place because it was late and “Italian” food sounded good. Unfortunately I didn’t look at google reviews prior to ordering on UberEats. It was hands down the WORST food experience I’ve had on my 3 week vacation of “food adventures” while traveling to different states trying new restaurants. I’d have honestly rather eaten McDonald’s instead. Absolutely no flavor. We got 3 different dishes and all 3 were gross. We only received ONE set of silverware! The breadsticks were extremely dull. They tasted like they were old but reheated and moist, it’s hard to explain. I read another review that said it seems like these are freezer meals….I agree 100%!!! I wouldn’t EVER give this place another try again or recommend it to anyone. $50 down the drain… I sure hope people read these reviews before ordering in the future. No clue how this place is even in business still. Ugh 😩 12 states in 3 weeks and definitely the worst of all meals.

The Italian Kitchen in DC is a true gem! This family-owned business is absolutely amazing, and they have a unique way of making you feel like you're part of their family from the moment you walk in. I recently had the pleasure of enjoying their food for a small catered birthday dinner, and I was blown away by their service and the quality of their food. The attention to detail and the care they put into every dish was evident, and it made the celebration truly special. What sets Italian Kitchen apart is not just their delicious food, but also their commitment to serving the community. It's heartwarming to see how they provide food to so many people in need. Their dedication to giving back is truly admirable. If you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine served with warmth and love, you absolutely must give Italian Kitchen a try. Not only will you enjoy a fantastic meal, but you'll also be supporting a business that does a lot of good in our community!

Came here last night/earlier this morning (Sunday, 4/17) around 3am with a friend to get some slices of pizza. After I placed my order, I stepped aside to wait for my pizza to be ready. While waiting, a belligerent guy in line to order pizza assaulted another guy standing behind him in line. No one expelled the guy from the pizzeria. Within minutes of that first assault, the friend that I was with who was standing in front of me, was assaulted by that same belligerent guy. He punched my friend in the mouth and knocked him to the floor. He then tried to go after him again while he was down and I was trying to help him up, that guy knocked my glasses off of my face and broke them. When I got my broken glasses back on, I didn't see the guy again. No one in the pizzeria, neither the staff nor patrons, were at all concerned about the two assaults that had just occurred. I didn't expect patrons to intervene, but I was greatly disappointed and upset that no one working there came over to us to ask us how we were or if we wanted them to call the police. Instead, they just ignored us and didn't do anything. That is terrible business and customer service. I will never go to this place again. I feel unsafe there now and know that I can't rely on the staff to do anything about that because they seem...

I have ordered from Italian Kitchen on U for lunchtime catering on several occasions and let me tell you, not once have I or my team of over 55 employees ever been disappointed. Here's a recap of an email I sent to my wonderful contact Tony:

"Hi Tony –

First, thank you for my “special” food. You saved me from having to cook dinner yet again. 😊 Second, the lunch arrived on time. YAY! Third, I dined on the steak and cheese panini. It was delicious. The bread was nice and soft, the vegetable dressing (lettuce and tomato) was fresh, the steak tender. Yum. Finally, a comment from two of my co-workers: “Erin and I agree that the Eggplant Pizza was amazing ;) Thank You!!” Others have also commented as follows: the steak and cheese are delicious; the Caesar salad is great. One even said the dressing was “out of this world”. They also love the lasagna, I concur. You and your team have been hitting it out of the ballpark consistently. Thank you. You make me look good (wink, wink). I will be in touch for future orders real soon. 😊 Trust me, you will not regret dining with them. They definitely aim to please the customers. Unfortunately, there are no pictures to share. We demolished the food before I considered leaving...
