Penn Branch Center — Local services in Washington

Went to the CVS on Sunday (Jan. 7, 2024) and caught their Christmas Sale, 90% off! I found all sorts of things, including candy canes by Lifesaver and Skittles. I had better selection when I caught Halloween items at 90% off about 3 weeks ago. This is the new CVS that use to be inside Penn Branch Shopping Center, but it is located where the Laundromat use to be. One major problem is the parking lot, it is too small and narrow! The pharmacy gets a lot of business. People were walking pass the 90% signs going elsewhere in the store. If you go to that CVS, check out their Seasonal Isle, that is where the bargains are. They have men and women's thermal sets for $9.99 and scarves for $2.00, and Scull caps for $2.00. The scarves are very nice and soft. DON'T SLEEP...

This shopping center at one time was a nice little location to come, because there was a variety of stores that may accommodate your needs. Such as s record store, shoe shopping for casual or work shoes, drug store, beauty and barbershop. A bank that's still in this location and medical offices in the upper levels of the center. I really missed the option of parking out back if there were not enough parking in the front and having the option of using the escalator to get to stores. Hopefully we can continue to have that option again someday. Parking is not good in this shopping center, there's not enough space for parking in the front. Not enough accessibility for seniors to use this area for parking when picking up medicine or...

I treated myself to Ms.Toya's again. I was greeted by the hostess & ordered my food to go. I changed my mind & decided to dine in. I was seated in less than 5 minutes. I got the same waitress who bought over my iced water. I ordered the seafood sampler with the catfish cooked hard. The sampler arrived in 5mins & inquired about the seasoned fries. The server told me they with cajun seasoning. I went to server station & asked for cajun seasoning, tarter sauce & hot sauce. I still tipped the waitress extra even though a server fee was included in...
