Maybe they changed their Pad Thai recipe. I noticed a review stating a negative on the pad Thai.
I was looking for a place for lunch before work in my neighborhood, since I frequent the Starbucks near by I thought I'd give this place a try.
I love Thai food and almost always get beef pad Thai. I wasn't disappointed! Very hot, fresh and tasty! Very good portion size with me (One person) having extra Togo for later.
I also rate Thai restaurants on the quality of their Pad Thai. And this was top notch!
I like spicy 🔥 and their spicy ⭐ star rating is a 1 to 5 scale. I always choose 5 and is still kinda medium heat to me ( Like I said, I love extra spicy!). I have been to MANY Thai restaurants where 5 star would be twice as spicy or more, But I enjoyed the level of heat offered here, and being not extra spicy like I like did not detract from the deliciousness of the meal.
I now come here about once per week for lunch and always order the Beef Pad Thai. I keep wanting to order something different, but I love a good Pad Thai so much it's hard for me to try something else!
When I arrive at lunch, usually between 11am to 12 pm, I'm the first person there, no problem getting a table at lunch.
Very friendly and efficient service, take care of me every time.
Thought it was reasonably priced, a large portion of Beef Pad Thai for $18. Like I stated, ate about 1/2 and had to take the other half TOGO. If you're a big eater you may be able to finish it on your own. I have finished a full portion on my own but usually regret it for being to full! Just sometimes so delicious I eat it to fast!
Overall stop by you'll...
Read moreWhat happened? My first visit was about threes ago for dinner. It was really great food and superior service. The decor is welcoming. I gave it 5 stars. Today, I took my friend there. I had to call over the wait person to take my order. He came back twice because he had not taken the order correctly and gotten all the information he needed. We ordered hot tea as well. The tea arrived and was lukewarm at best. Our food arrived. Parts of the dish were cold, not even warm. A cold mushroom and snow pea, a warm piece of chicken and hot rice. How does this happen? My friends dish was the same way. They were sent back to heat them up. The tea issue continued with an excuse that their boiler pot was on the fritz. They brought another tea kettle to the table holding it with a cloth towel. I touched the handle and it was too HOT to touch with my bare hand. If I had grabbed it I would have been burned. Food arrives second time. It is hot enough on one side of the plate and warmish on the other. One of the wait staff treated us like he was doing us a favor to be there and simply made excuses for all the problems he was finding in the kitchen. In the end: they did not charge us for the tea and gave us a 15% discount for problems created by them. That was the best part of the meal and the experience. Sad. End result for me: I will not be going back and will actively not recommend this...
Read moreThis place was good for a minute and then something went horribly wrong. Most everyone I know really liked it in the beginning but my last few visits have progressed from disappointing to just plain gross. I really wish that it wasn't since it's right up the street from my house but it's just bad now and most of the people around my neighborhood who used to love it agree. The flavors are off and the rice has been crunchy on more than one visit. I think that most people will give places in close proximity to their homes more opportunities to impress them for convenience reasons. This is the only explanation for the fact that I ever eat at Crapplebee's but once the bridge is burned, it's burned for good. The service has been really bad the last few visits as well. On our final visit, we were in a hurry because we were trying to catch a movie. The restaurant was pretty empty and it was late in the evening but they just ignored us and left us standing there for 20 minutes. We finally just left. We won't be back.
