Took my dad here for dinner since I’ve heard the food here was good. Which is an understatement. The food here and the sauces were AMAZING!!! We ordered the chicken pot pie-the filling was delicious and the top was perfect, not too hard and not too soft but just right, also got the pretzel and cheese dip-also delicious, we got loaded tots, the meat they put on there was also perfect and seasoned to perfection, my dad got the fish and chips with some sort of lime aioli, my dad said that was the best sauce he’s ever had, and the fries were also perfect, literally the perfect crunch. It was very confusing when I walked in, wasn’t sure if it was seat yourself or what, walked up and the girl explained how it works, order and pay, grab a number and find an open spot. They also had lots of different seating options from booths, seating for 2-4, and then long bar top tables, this is also a very loud environment (tap room) so if you don’t like loud places, then maybe order out. But otherwise this looks like the best place to watch the games if you don’t know where to go. I don’t drink beer, so I can’t give an opinion on that other than there’s lots of options and almost every table had a beer accompanied by a happy customer, they also have soda options, slushees, mimosas, wine, and other options. Only negative thing I didn’t like was that if I wanted to get another soda, I’d have to leave my table, walk to the front and get one from their fridge (located next to the check out) and then wait in line, pay….and hope no one took my table. Luckily, my dad was also there with me but if he hadn’t, I’m not sure how the staff would know if someone were done or not and could easily buss that table unless you left your personals there. Staff was very friendly, I can’t recall anyone’s name but there was a guy with curly hair in a hat, maybe a ponytail, that checked in on us, brought us some more sauce and was super friendly. I wish we had enough space in our stomach for dessert, because we saw the brownie walk past us and both our jaws dropped. Definitely will be coming back Kid friendly? Kinda sorta, it’s loud so that’s not an issue, if you’ve got little ones that can’t sit still-probably not the best spot, food options for kids? On point!!!

We’ve eaten here a few times now over the last year. The service has always been exceptional, in fact, the only reason I’m not giving it 3 stars. When we first came in the food was much better and there was more attention to detail. We ordered the fried chicken sandwich and the Tapped burger; both buns were refrigerator temp cold and the chicken was pounded out and pretty dry and the wife’s burger was pretty well done when she ordered medium. Just so you don’t think I’m some pretentious food snob, I have worked as a prep and sous chef in 2 other restaurants… it takes literally an extra 45-60 seconds to put some butter or mayo on the open face of the buns and place them on the griddle next to the burger. This would both warm them up and give them much more palatable texture. Need to soak the chicken in buttermilk for at least 12 hours before you pound it into a 1 inch patty.

Don't get me wrong this place is great! Just a few things that took that 1 star ⭐ away in my opinion. Positives: 1. Easy grab tables 2. Lots of drink options, even non-alcoholic 3. Good food options including dietary needs 4. Moderate pricing 5. Friendly atmosphere Negatives: 1. The food distribution was chaotic. They really need stands to hold the order numbers higher for employees looking for the numbers. Then they don't remove the numbers so the table is cluttered. 2. For the bar tables there needs to be hooks for bags, there is literally no where to put your stuff. Hooks would make such a great addition under the table. 3. I was not a fan of the fish tacos, the fish was thin and had the skin on it making it very fishy and it didn't seemed cooked enough either. Plus the toppings were so tiny maybe 1 tablespoon of salsa each and that's it.

Addended review 10/21/23: My wife and I took my parents here to eat with our 18 month old son. This place is tagged as “kid friendly”.

I don’t mean to be “Extra” but I was kind of frustrated by this interaction. I will preface this by saying I am very conscious of mine and my families behavior toward wait staff, and I don’t ask for much.

My folks and I ordered a lot of food as well as some macaroni and cheese for my son, it came out VERY hot, too hot to touch, our waitress mentioned this. Secondary to this, we asked for a separate bowl so we could cool it down some for my son and he didn’t burn himself… our waitress refused to give us another bowl? I was very off-put by this, she said there wasn’t extra bowls. If there is not, there should be. We ordered two adult portions and one was intended to be shared with my son, we ultimately paid MORE just to give my son more options and a bowl was too much to ask? For a toddler? I was kind of appalled.

With that said, everyone else was super accommodating. Mark served us primarily, he didn’t bring the food out however, and was great. The counter staff helped me walk the drinks to the table as there were many, I appreciated that.

Initial review: I honestly can't understand the 3-4 star reviews I am seeing of this place.

This area NEEDED a bar with a bunch of decent beer options. Tapped provides that. We came from Phoenix/Flagstaff and after living here for 6 years we have grown tired of the lack of taphouses/brewpubs/breweries once you leave Seattle proper.

You wait in line to order your food...I'm seeing complaints about that. This is a style of restaurant. You wouldn't go to the McDonalds drive through and complain you didn't get a linen napkin and a bottle of wine for your nonexistent table. Most of the US doesn't meet activity guidelines for general health, stand a little, you'll make it. You stood the WHOLE way from your car to the door.

Food: Delicious, pretzel burger and Prime Rib Dip were so tasty. My wife's eyes were wide when she tried her burger. Honestly we haven't found many places that we love to eat in the last 6 years we have moved here....this made the list.

Drinks: my IPA was excellent, her Chardonnay was also good. They were cold and refreshing that's pretty much all you can ask for.

Service: We were checked on twice, frankly I didn't expect to be checked on at all. It shouldn't be necessary at a place like this. It's basically a large pub style eatery.

Finally, they don't sweat you for bringing your kids. I don't want to go to Applebees man. I want some decent food and good drinks and a fun atmosphere. I felt like this provided that, and I can bring my son. We have been turned away a couple of places when we felt like pub fare and a drink with our son in...

Tapped Mill Creek is a great place to go for a casual meal and a few drinks. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The food menu is extensive, with something for everyone to enjoy. The beer selection is also impressive, with a wide variety of local and national craft beers on tap. Tapped Mill Creek is a great place to relax and enjoy a good meal and a few beers and watch Sports or just visit with friends. Here are some specific details about my experience: • Atmosphere: The atmosphere at Tapped Mill Creek is relaxed and inviting. The restaurant is spacious and well-lit, with plenty of seating options. There is a large bar area, as well as a number of tables and booths. Overall, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. When we were there between 4 and 6pm Tuesday evening, and the dinner room was starting to get busy around 5ish. • Food: The food menu at Tapped Mill Creek is extensive, with something for everyone to enjoy. There are appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, entrees, and desserts. (We had Loaded Tots, and 2 Beers each) • Service: The service at Tapped Mill Creek is friendly and attentive. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and the beer selection, and she was always happy to answer our questions. She was also very attentive to our needs, and she made sure that we had everything we needed throughout our visit. Note: The Manager Ken, made the rounds and came by our table to check on us, nice. 👍 I can't wait to come back to have a full-on meal. Overall, I had a great experience at Tapped Mill Creek. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, the food is delicious, and the service is friendly and attentive.
