Sampan Bar&Grill — Restaurant in Washington

Not at all what I expected for a restaurant. There was 1 large room with a couple of pool tables. I went for the karaoke but was the only person who showed up. Cooks night off I was told so very limited as to what I could order. The bartender was also the person cooking my dinner. I ended up getting Bento box #1 which was Teryaki chicken, gyoza, egg roll, salad and steamed rice. It was alright. The texture of the chicken made me feel it wasn't quite cooked completely. I waited over an hour for a salad while other people with far more complex and labor intensive orders were getting their food within a reasonable amount time. When I brought it to the attention the bartender or server they were the absolute rudest people I've ever dealt with. The worst part about it, the salad sucked. It was just poured out of a bag with some lunchmeat plopped on top with a bit of ranch dressing on the side. I highly recommend NOT frequenting this establishment, they're just terrible. Avoid...

Wow... The only word that comes to mind is trainwreck. I mean, the staff was absolutely great. Friendly, courteous, and there were zero problems getting service or drinks. I've been in my fair share of dive bars, a lot of them really worth going back and some not. I'm not too sure if I'd put this in the first category, but I guess everyone needs a sketchy/weird-vibe place to hang out at. I'm gonna have to give this place a hard...
