Thereās a lot of good items in this store and the older man who works there is very helpful and respectful, however Iāve had 3 separate incidents with the lady who works the cashier there. The first time she charges me an extra $10 and then acted bothered and impatient when I pointed it out. Another time I bought some bread, and there was a little mold on it so I came to return it and she insisted that I purchased the bread a long time ago even though I brought a receipt that showed I bought it the day before. Yesterday I bought frozen okra that was EXPIRED and rotten, I didnāt get a receipt because they were busy. I came tonight to try and get the okra exchanged; and she was extremely rude to me in front of a store full of customers. She said she could look up my receipt, I showed her my bank statement with the purchase, she purposely made 5 people wait while she looked up my receipt even though I told her to take care of them first. She snatched something out of my hand and said āYou have to pay for that!ā Like obviously I was going to but I donāt know why she was trying to make a scene in front of other customers. Her behavior was just bizarre and all I can say is go to Capitol Market or The other Asian markets in Olympia. They are...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSomeone is trying to put this establishment out of business. I buy groceries from this market for over three months now. The people working there are very nice and honest and they work hard for the Dollar like all of us. On Google maps this establishment was labeled "Permanently Closed". I rode on a bus and went there, the store has a sign that says "Open". I was really confused. I walked inside and talked to the owner, he said that he has no idea about the Permanently Closed label on Google Maps. I showed him on phone what it says on google maps about his establishment. He got really upset about it, someone is trying to put him out of business which is terrible thing to do to a person that has a family who is working hard to make it happen.
I want to correct this with the Google Maps people. The KN Halal Market located at Tanglewilde Shopping Center, 7255 Martin Way E, Olympia, WA 98516, is an open business and it has been opened for thirteen years as the owner explained to me. The person who is trying to destroy KN Halal Market ought to be sued, and I hope they will find this...

Very fresh selections however I don't like the fact they have everything already pre packaged. What if I want only 1 small cucumber? Instead I'm forced to buy a whole pack. Same with the green onions and garlic. Let me choose my products please. I don't have a large family so I might need 1 carrot...instead I have to buy 3 or 4 minimum. Bulk is bulk...I should be able to choose how much I want to buy. I love the old owner as she always has worked hard and is still there working away for the new owners...also I wanted Banh Mi (Vietnamese bread) they gave it to me frozen...that's not fresh bread. I wanted to make Vietnamese sandwiches but had to wait until the next day because my bread was hard as a rock š I'm American and cook a lot of Asian cuisine and they always have everything I need but it's way more expensive than...
