Starbucks — Restaurant in Washington

Great location and lovely staff working here - always a smile, hello, and cheerful engagement. There are some constant staff and then some rotation but have to say I always feel valued and appreciated as a customer. They are super fast at doing your drinks and food. I do order a few minutes before I go there as I live down the road and its handy to get the order in, breeze in and they have it ready. I also don't mind waiting but figure sometimes its easier for them when you order ahead.

Location is always spotless and there is nearly always someone cleaning up, wiping floors or making sure its clean. They do have seating outside the store which closes in the evenings but is usually well set with students from AU and retirees and business folks doing interviews and meetings. They also have outside seating which is fab in the warmer weather. Depending on the time of day you may or may not be lucky to get seating. In winter there are some seats along the walkways to the medical center so if you're stuck walk down the corridor and you'll find some spots to park yourself.

Addon. The new spongy pineapple cake is delicious. It's light, spongy in a delicate way and so flavorsome and tasty. Reminds me of old irish recipe pineapple buns i van only get back home which is wonderful!!! Great...

Out of the many Starbucks I have visited throughout the city Foxhall Square is by far the most unprofessional and unorganized. Which is very unfortunate due to this being a prime location. I placed a mobile order at 3:25pm and that order was not made or received until 3:43pm. After about 10 minutes of waiting and seeing so many customers who arrived after me get served I asked the young African American man about my order and was ignored. I proceeded to the counter where the young Latino man stated stay the guy was backed up and he would assist me. If hard to determine what backed up means being as though I was clearly there prior to the other 8 people who were served before me and my MOBILE order was placed before my arrival. Despite my ready time being 3:31, I received my order at 3:43 without a single apology! I will under no circumstances visit this...

Usually the people at this Starbucks are professional and kind. Today, after my Dr’s app I bought a coffee, and the fake, not nice employee making the coffee (a short size caramel m.) did not want to give me an extra cup as it was really hot. Pathetic and I even added a dollar tip. I did not want to get into it but he should know better. Bad moment for no reason. BURNING CUP. I have not...
