An excellent playground near the Giant supermarket on Wisconsin. There is usually street parking available but you can park in the Giant's parking lot too, it's a short walk. No restrooms, there are small private gardening lots adjacent but they don't seem to have any restrooms either. Giant has restrooms, if the kids can hold it that long.

Tenleytown has a nice local playground with a spinner and a really cute slide for 6-23 mos old kids. The park has a lot of imagination play features (little tables and clubhouse things) but not a lot of verticality to this playground (slides or climbs) which may not appeal to older kids (7+)

Good nature-themed playground with lots of shade. There are a couple picnic tables as well as benches sprinkled around the playground. Street parking is not a problem. One downside: no bathrooms.

This playground was redone in about Spring 2014. The playground has a lovely rubber service (old photos have the wood chips). One thing I had not seen elsewhere was something for the under 2 crowd. There is a little mount with 2 small slides for the 6 to 23 month crowd. The various playground structures are fun and incorporate wood stumps. They look beautiful. The area is shaded by several tall trees. This playground has no water features (other than 2 sets of drinking fountains). Overall, great for the...

The garden of flowers and plants was an eye-opener, and I set it aside from other children's parks in this area. It seems my grandchildren prefer the park to many others that they frequented in their infancy and childhood. They know and learned a lot about plants and flowers, and my four-year-old granddaughter even explained pollination by bees and...
