This Starbucks truly has some of the sweetest employees, but boy…. A few bad Apple can really ruin the experience.. There are always 3/4 employees who just hate their job. You can just feel their seething energy. Then you have these other employees who are just kind and sincere and are grateful for their jobs!
This store seems to be running on power trips and personal conquests to shame anyone who dares asks for extra oatmilk! Like?! Come on folks!!! No other SB location I go to does this! Are they docking pay here? .50 cents out of every $1 if you give someone an extra splash of oatmilk.
I understand there are people that abused the system, but it is your job to be able to differentiate and understand the policies.
If I ask for a little extra oat milk, don’t assume I am asking you to fill my cup up to the top. If I was trying to be greedy, I’d order my drink with no ice! Or light ice. It’s the principal and the ridiculous banter of having to ask for “a little extra oatmilk”!
I easily spend, $300-$400 a month here at this location specifically, I shouldn’t have to pull up policy showing 4oz of oatmilk is free. It’s utterly bizarre. It shouldn’t be a big deal to add a little extra oatmilk when you’re paying for an extra shot of espresso. That’s why I am asking for a little extra oatmilk! I want to offset the taste of the extra shot.
Also- Skylar has zero ability to offer any level of customer service. She is shockingly rude, abrasive, combative and blatantly discourteous. The way she condescendingly speaks down to customers is uncalled for. I’ve seen the other employees cringe over her behavior multiple times!!! She needs to try and do something else; not work at a place that’s supposed to offer an upbeat all-inclusive environment!!! She shouldn’t be the supervisor either!! Make the young man with the shorter hair cut, who always wears the cute jewelry the supervisor! All the employees and customers really like...
Read moreSo disheartening to be treated so poorly over asking for a water. I was working with a youth who was asking for water so I offered the nearest Starbucks as I’ve never been denied a water, ever. The barista was pretty snarky and said I had to pay for a menu item if I wanted a water. I declined and offered to just pay for the cup of water. When I got to the window they charged me over $3 for a bottle of water. When I asked if I could just pay for a cup (like an extra cup charge and just have them put some ice water in the cup) they defined insisted that I had to buy the bottle of water, but then still offered me a cup of ice after I paid for the bottle of water. Like what?! Are we actually treating loyal customers this way over a cup of ice water that I offered to pay for? Is this how to be kind in the world these days? We don’t know what people are going through so why not be kind and make things easier, especially when it comes to our youth. The water was for a child and I told them that. A child! It’s not about money, it’s about the way I was treated. Those baristas should be ashamed of themselves. I worked in coffee and for Starbucks for years and would never make someone feel so uncomfortable over asking for a...
Read moreI decided to treat myself and my children to some tasty beverages and ordered 5 dairy free drinks(we are allergic) and was feeling like spreading the love and paid for the car’s drinks behind me using my last little bit of cash set aside for fun. Mine was $32 and the lady behind me was $16. I got all my drinks and drove away. I took a sip of mine to discover it tasted weird so I checked the label and it wasn’t even close to what I ordered and it was full of dairy! I even told the barista we are all allergic to dairy so please make them all with oat milk… I mentioned my dairy allergy multiple times. This was the third time this has happened. I called and spoke to the manager who told me it was my fault for not checking the label before I drove away and that I certainly should not have taken a drink without reading the label if I have such serious food allergies… I could not believe just how inconsiderate the manager was… talk about not caring for her customers. Good luck surviving this economy treating your customers like garbage. So to all you coffee drinkers if you are thinking about stopping here keep driving and go to a different coffee stand… this one...
