I've seen the building for years but for some reason never stopped in for a drink. Today was finally the day . . . and I can't believe I've waited this long to have the best coffee of my life. I've only tried two flavors: The Butterbeer Frapp and The Black Forest, although I personally didn't care for the Black Forest because the chocolate was overpowering the amoretto/cherry flavor but I think chocolate lovers would appreciate it more. The best coffee I've ever tried was hands down the Butterbeer -- it's an absolute must try. They also have humorous memorabilia that you can buy as shown in the pictures, and the cashier helping us was very friendly -- however the older woman making our drink seemed kind of rude; maybe she was just having a rough day but it really didn't effect our experience negatively. They have a lot of drink options, as well as cookies, bread, scones, bars and muffins. The location was a breeze to find; plenty of parking spaces and places to sit inside without feeling crowded. I would definitely recommend trying Washington Coffee Shop if you haven't already.

The Washington Coffee Shop what can I say it's coffee... or is it? This little coffee shop has a lot going for it! Our first visit we were pleasantly surprised. This little coffee shop has an ambiance that is a force to be reckoned with. They have a huge variety of flavors and a staff that will make you whatever you want no matter how ridiculous it is and are happy to do it. So why only four stars you might ask. Well they don't offer wifi not this is not a huge deal at all unless you want to set in there lovely establishment and do some work. That is just a little mark which can be address no problem. Or maybe it shouldn't be! A must visit place for any coffee lover who is tired of the "plastic" look of your everyday Starbucks.

I stopped at this shop for about an hour before visiting a family member in town. The Caramel Macchiato I had was made very well, and the price was similar to other shops I have visited. Nice, quiet atmosphere for studying/getting some work done on a laptop (there were about 5 other people doing the same). The staff was friendly, and I bought a slice of bannana bread and 2 chocolate chip cookies to go and they were fantastic! (Thick cookies with a lot of chips). Will definitely return when I am in the area again to sample more of the menu.

I want to start by saying I do enjoy this place and the atmosphere so much. I’ve been going here for about two years on and off so I was really surprised and slightly embarrassed when a worker came up to a different person and me to tell us that I can’t stay there unless I buy something because “that’s how they pay for their wifi” meanwhile I didn’t have any devices out, I had my textbook and notebook out. she then proceeds to tell me “the library is across the street” and that just wasn’t necessary to add. I came here for a reason; if I had wanted to go there, I would’ve! :) I’m not upset about needing to buy something because I usually buy something to support them! But I haven’t in the past, so I don’t know when this started and whether there’s a sign explicitly stating this policy. I think the lady employee could’ve overall been...

My wife and I decided to do a short staycation in Washington. We live about 70 miles away and love the small town vibes. This coffee shop was one of the first places I noticed and we went as our last stop in town and were not disappointed.

As others have said, the atmosphere is fantastic. The odd, mismatched furniture, funny decor, and whole environment is super cool and and makes it feel as though the owners and staff really put some thought and effort into make it a nice place to be.

Similarly, the food, service, and coffee are excellent and a minor mix-up with our order was addressed in a way that went above and beyond. My wife is still talking about her coffee there being the best she's ever had.

Not sure when/if we'll be back but we'll definitely stop in again if...
