Loved it.

Best happy hour I have come across in Washmo for food and drink specials 3-5.

Happy hour we tried: Tenderloin Sliders on Garlic Bread Honey Garlic and Sweet and Spicy Wings

Dinner: Chicken fried chicken , scalloped potatoes Argentine Shrimp and Beer Battered Onion Rings Walleye and Mac

Everything was made with the love and tasted great, the main meals also come with a side salad and most the dressings are house made.

This is my new favorite restaurant in Washmo and def a spot I'll take friends when they visit.

For the bourbon lovers this place has some hard to find pours too!

——————

Stopped in for dinner on recently tried the following:

Wings - Delicious, lady liked the ranch and I love my blue cheese chunky and this was right on.

Reuben with sidewinder fries - House smoked meat and the smoke flavor really shined compared to others I have and I enjoyed the non marble rye it was served on.

I just recently had sidewinder fries at the sports book at a Davenport, IA casino and they are one of my new favorite type of fries. Try them here they were cooked well.

Blackened Sea Bass with Mac n cheese (also comes with a side salad) - Fell a little short on this, while still edible and the blackened seasoning tasted great, the fish was over cooked even for a meatier fish. My lady ate half and I picked up her slack and worked through it.

They have a Cuban sandwich on the menu on rye instead of Cuban pressed bread.

I assumed it would be marble rye. I didn’t realize until I got my sandwich that it could be regular rye, so the Cuban is now on my list of must try’s as well as the pizza.

Again, they have a nice selection of bourbon, it would be nice to list the pour prices.

——————-

Stopped in for lunch with the lady.

Tried the Cuban sandwich with scalloped potatoes and every bite was so tasty! The flavors of the Cuban were spot on and the rye complimented it well.

Also had the soft shell crab sandwich and sidewinder fries, the soft shell crab was bursting with flavor however just a tad to much bun which was easy to just tear a little off to really let the crab shine.

This is my favorite small local spot, good vibe, good prices and they execute well, compliments to the chef too.

Stopped in for dinner and it was packed but I like this place, so we waited a while to be seated.

Every item we ordered was perfect:

Ribeye w scallops special perfect medium Sea bass Seafood stuffed chicken Wings (2 kinds) Chicken meatballs Two different burgers done perfect medium And a few nice bar pours.

Compliments to the chef who was checking on his tables as well.

5-8 after the dining area opened but we got take out and everything was high quality and executed well.

Have dined here several times. We haven't had a truly bad experience until this past weekend. Arrived, had no problem waiting for a table. As we are waiting and having a drink at the bar my boyfriend informed the hostess to please come get us when something was available. A couple is seated behind us at a table, they had just walked in. We asked if we could just sit at a now empty table in the bar. No issues, we were happy to have a seat. I always order the Caesar salad there, this time is was rather gross. Rotten lettuce included in with borderline, the three croutons on the salad were visibly burnt. That honestly let me know their kitchen was in DGAF mode. I had the snapper and my boyfriend had a steak. Both were poorly cooked but had good flavor. Snapper was way over done, rubber didn't care because we were hungry until I was stabbed in the gum with a bone. Steak was shown the grill for 2 min a side and was completely rare when Mid rare was ordered. Not being one to write reviews, here I am because the bartender serving us never once asked about how our food was and avoided several attempts to make eye contact. I was prepared to send my fish back and wait, wasn't given the opportunity. We both had baked potatoes which were very good. Check was dropped before plates were cleared, never asked. Even ran our card before I could tell her something wasn't right. Totally disappointed for a "nice" $80 dinner. Kitchen showed lack of care on the plate and foh staff showed it with...

Worth the 45 minute wait

Everything we received appeared to be made from scratch and was super fresh.

We swung by this joint on the way back from Meramec Caverns. It was a full house when we arrived and had to wait. I’m glad we did.

The only reason I wanted to come here was to try the chicken wings. I’m constantly on the hunt for the best of the best across the land. The pictures I saw of the wings served here immediately caught my attention and it was a must-try.

The garlic parmesan flavor was a garlic butter base topped with some finely diced garlic. These were not of the creamy gparm variety you might find at BWW or O! Wing Plus. They were more akin to a Wingstop gparm.

9.1/10 Clucks

The other flavor I tried was “Stinging Honey Garlic”. This was a mildly spicy honey and garlic glaze. It was by far my favorite. I wish they were a bit spicier but if you’re an average spicy fan you’d love these.

9.25/10 Clucks

The ONLY thing I didn’t necessarily love was the ranch. It gets bonus points for being house made but, in my opinion, it was WAY too chive forward. It almost didn’t resemble ranch at all flavor-wise. The good news is I didn’t even need to use it because the sauces were so good.

If this place wasn’t so far away from where I live I’d be a regular. I really wanted to try the pizza because it looked so good but we ordered too much as it...

Hamburgers are the bomb. If you eat here that's what I would recommend, but it will cost you at least $15. Pizza was good, not the best I've tasted. The chicken wings were again good, but not the best I've had, and definitely not worth $12 for 6 wings. $2 a wing. The service and price is were the low score Comes from. We arrived on a Saturday at 1:30 for lunch. It took the waitress 15 minutes to take our order. She passed our table over a dozen times without stopping to take our order. It took 45 minutes from when we sat down to get our food. I ordered 3 meals and 6 chicken wings for a appetizer and the bill was $80 with the tip. Personally $80 for lunch is pretty steep. We did take some food home, so the portions were satisfactory. The atmosphere was also very nice. The place was packed when we got their, but emptied out to half full pretty quickly. The parking was terrible, so if you have trouble walking this could pose a big problem. The bottom line is; this is a ok place to take a date or a fancy dinner out. But for lunch, or a normal eat out night I wouldn't recommend eating here. I doubt I'll go back to eat here again because of the terrible service and the pricey menu.
