Bar Toro is one of the best bars in Washington, D.C. I visited last Friday with my friends, and we had an exceptional time. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, which set the stage for a great night out.
From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. The manager greeted us warmly, and both the waitress and the bartender checked on us frequently, ensuring we had everything we needed. Their attentiveness really made us feel valued as customers.
The highlight of the evening was the hookah, which was amazing. The flavors were rich, and the setup was perfect for our group. It added a fun and relaxing element to our night.
I also had the chance to meet the owner, who is a very decent and approachable person. It was clear that he takes pride in his establishment and genuinely cares about his customers' experiences.
Overall, Bar Toro is a fantastic spot to unwind and enjoy a night out with friends. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a top-notch bar...
Read moreFun bar to chill and hang out with friends, or meet new ones. There are 3 pool tables and more than 6 screens. There is even a pull down screen when they have video games. The pool tables are 7 foot bar tables and well felted. You pay with a card on the table and it’s about $2 a rack. The vibe is good with various music and neon lights. Very Instagramable if you like taking photos with neon and fake plant walls. There is bar seating and seating at tables. There is no food at the Toro Bar so bring your own.
Toro always has sports on TV and drink specials. They have a beer and shot special and other mixed drinks. Don’t expect a world class cocktail, but expect a fun night and good people. This is a good neighborhood bar in Columbia Heights and Uptown. A short 10 minute walk from the Petworth Metro station. It’s right on 14th Street NW and off the bus line too. There is street...
Read more‼️My night was going great. I was dancing with the beautiful ladies there. Like always and I told my friend to come out. So he did. We stepped out to have a smoke break and when we came back they didn’t allow us to come back in. Saying that I was too intoxicated and falling over. Never fell over in my life from drinking. I just started my night. I asked the guy at the door a specific question to see if it was because of what we were ( Black) and he most definitely said yes. I have never in my life experienced Racism in that way especially from the Spanish ppl. It broke my heart and I felt so low and ashamed because I spent my hard earned money there $100+ I was buying shots for everyone and literally they turned us away because we was black. So if you’re 100% black please spend your money elsewhere. THEY DO NOT...
