I have been a member of Canaan Baptist Church for over three years. I am so honor to claim Canaan as my church. Pastor Larry Owens is truly ordained and a man of God. His wisdom, wit, and humble demeanor are just a few characteristics that encourage me to continue to follow this pathway that God has chosen for me, to "GROW" at Canaan Baptist Church. To be able to follow God's Will, worship, serve and trust, while being in an environment of loving members who exude kindness, dedication and love is the epitome of fellowship. This spiritual journey is enhanced with the wisdom ministered every Sunday from Pastor Owens coupled with our outstanding music ministry. I am forever grateful that my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ led me to this church. I need a church home that would feed my spirit man. After being beat up from the world's dilemma daily, I wanted something to enhance my growth in the Lord. I am a sinner but I'm trying to get it right. I want to seek God's face and found it. I felt the love poured upon me the minute I stepped into the building.
