Me an group of ladies went there October 26th to celebrate our friends 42 birthday. We got there an wanted a little bit an got our drink order. From the beginning the waiter was not friendly expressionless. We waited a bit for our drinks then about 15 after that he came back took our orders. We did receive our appetizers kinda fast and the 3 people including my self ordered side salads and I don’t think the salad was drained due to lots of water on bottom of salad plate on all my croutons were soggy. Then over 45 later The waiter did not come by at all during that time frame an I had to get up an ask a waitress that we would like refills on our water an teas that someone else ordered. She herself seemed annoyed that I even asked her. As I was walking back to our table I notice only 2 other tables occupied and the people came after us an they were eating. About 10 min after talking to the other waitress our waiter came with our food and half the orders were wrong two people ordered crispy chicken salad an both got grilled chicken Cesar salad, only one complained because other didn’t want to bother the waiter cause he was unpleasant. Other ordered a bun less burger an it came with a bun she said don’t worry I’ll be fine I myself didn’t order fries with my food an I got fries. I would not go back this is my 2nd time there first time food was not good at all but this time my cheeseburger was really good....but with bad service an waiting for a long time to even get drinks almost everything getting mixed up I would not be recommending piccolinos to anyone everyone in the group is very unhappy as well. DO NOT USE THIS RESTAURANT!! Went to dinner on Father’s Day, 7 total people. Ordered 2 pizzas. One came out wrong, after 1 hour. Let the waitress know that the pizza was wrong. Everyone grabbed except 1 person (who was waiting for the pizza without onion). Waitress came back and said she needed the whole pizza to take back is what manager said- advised not possible we are eating the other 1/2. Advised if they could just make a personal size pizza with no onion for the 1 person. After every one was done eating waitress came and said manager will not make pizza. She said we could pay for another pizza or the waitress said she could could buy it. Asked for manager- manager never came out. I gave 1/2 the pizza back to waitress and told her I want this off bill. It was done. But what restaurant does anyone know, who will not correct a mistake the cook made and would leave a customer hungry. Also what restaurant does the waitress have to buy the customer food because the cook screwed up. DO NOT USE THIS RESTAURANT!! Manager will not come talk to customer and will not correct the kitchens screw ups. I will never go back - and will...

Our server was Andrew and he is nop of the line! Excellent! I wish he could personally train every waiter and waitress in the state of Alaska on proper technique, tableside-manner, timing and much, much more. Awesome young man.

Some of the dishes are wonderful. Salads are awesome, bread, when fresh, is awesome. All red-sauce dishes are too sweet. Taste your own food sometimes, Piccolino's. The alfredo sauce is too abundant in every dish, and could use more garlic and more flavor. It is good but could be so much better. I speculate whether or not it is fresh made. Is it from a can? Is the red sauce from a can? Both need work. This restaurant could be so excellent. With just a bit of tweaking, it could be one of the best in Alaska. Sorry, but this is all true. Been there 10 times in 2 years, and this is always the same for us.

One last thing. The stuffed mushrooms are too wet and simpy swimming in alfredo sauce. Wayyyyyyy too much sauce. Less wetness in mushrooms themselves. Otherwise, basic good flavor. Put them under the broiler and they would be amazing! Top them with parmesan, a touch of olive...
