I met Luis one of the brothers that owns this little pizza parlor! We ordered the medium stuffed crust pepperoni with extra pepperoni. Darrell wanted extra cheese but I told him that since we were getting the stuffed crust that would be plenty of cheese ! When I called in the order the young man on the phone was very polite so far wonderful experience first impression is key! Placed our order and went to pick it up. Had a wonderful conversation with Luis. I asked if they had dipping sauce which they did I love dipping the crust in the sauce it was delicious! You can tell the crust is not premixed but from the taste probably made fresh daily! I waited 5 minutes after I got there, I was early, but my pizza came out hot and remained hot till I got home about a 10 minute drive.. I like my crust a little browner but it was soft and delicious. Darrell likes his the way we got it! I usually have to heat my second slice cause it isn’t hot this was! The sauce was flavorful and the perfect amount! The pepperoni was soooo good and the edges were turned up and crispy just the way i like it! Listen, if pizza isn’t your thing, literally everything I’ve tried there tastes like a mother prepared it for her only son’s last meal on de*th row, knowing deep in her heart that her baby boy is innocent!! Get it together, Watauga, y’all don’t want to lose this place to Colleyville like y’all lost Chef Point. Order two nights worth of pizza at a time. Eat if for breakfast. Take it out of the fridge in the morning and put it on a hot skillet for 5 minutes (lid on)… then you’ll realize that “left overs” is a term that can also describe the birth of an entirely new kind of wonder and amazement; like a beautiful caterpillar turning into a beautiful butterfly. The quality of the ingredients is so much better than that I’ve had at other restaurants, the presentation was excellent, and the customer service was outstanding.
We ordered a Large Supreme pizza with a hand-tossed crust around 6 on Friday night. They had it ready for us as promised and the staff was very friendly.
The crust was absolutely fantastic and the most notable part of the pizza. The flavor was outstanding and had the perfect texture—truly far better than any standalone breadsticks I’ve had.
They were so generous with delicious toppings. There were toppings covered with loads of cheese followed by another layer of toppings. They were all evenly spaced so the pizza looked perfect on the outside and you could enjoy the flavors in every bite. There was so much Canadian bacon and pepperoni. I absolutely loved the green and black olives. The mushrooms and peppers were so fresh and flavorful as well.
