Being a foodie, I always seek out locally owned restaurants. Did you know every dollar you spend in your local community, leads to more jobs, tax dollars being spent in your community and overall, 70 cents of that dollar remaining in your community. Consider this when you choose a national chain over your neighbors businesses.
If you’re on the hunt for a culinary experience that tantalizes the taste buds while offering a vibrant atmosphere, look no further than Ruff Snow WNB. This gem of a restaurant has quickly become a favorite for food lovers, sports enthusiasts, and anyone in between.
Ambiance: As soon as you step inside, you’re greeted by a lively sports bar vibe that’s perfect for catching the big game or enjoying a night out with friends. The decor strikes a great balance between casual and chic, making it an inviting spot for both a laid-back lunch or dinner. Live music options on certain days and times also exist.
Food: Now, let’s talk about the star of the show: the food. The gourmet 7 oz burgers are a must-try. Cooked to perfection, each burger is juicy and flavorful, with a variety of toppings that cater to all palates. Whether you prefer classic flavors or something more adventurous, Ruff Snow WNB has you covered.
The Korean BBQ offerings are equally impressive. The fusion of flavors is a delightful surprise, and the dishes are beautifully presented. Pair your meal with their amazing naked or breaded wings, which come in an astounding eleven sauce choices. Whether you like it spicy or sweet, there’s a sauce for everyone, and the wings themselves are cooked to crispy perfection.
For those looking for something lighter, the salads are fresh and vibrant, making them a great option to balance out the indulgent sides. Speaking of sides, you absolutely cannot miss the Nashville Fries and Truffle Fries. The Nashville Fries pack a punch with their spicy seasoning, while the Truffle Fries are a decadent treat that elevates the classic side dish. The sweet potato fries, tater tots, and beer-battered sidewinders are equally tempting, and the fried potatoes with cheese curd are pure comfort food.
Shakes and Drinks: Don’t forget to save room for dessert! The shakes are rich and creamy, offering a perfect sweet ending to your meal. The drink menu is extensive, featuring a variety of craft beers and cocktails that complement the food beautifully.
Service: The staff at Ruff Snow WNB are friendly and attentive, ensuring that your dining experience is enjoyable from start to finish. They’re knowledgeable about the menu and happy to make recommendations based on your preferences.
Overall Experience: Ruff Snow WNB is more than just a restaurant; it’s a destination for food lovers and sports fans alike. With its diverse menu, welcoming atmosphere, and top-notch service, it’s no wonder this place is gaining popularity. Whether you’re in the mood for a gourmet burger, mouthwatering wings, or a refreshing shake, Ruff Snow WNB is sure to satisfy. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their...
Read moreWe have had some great burgers here. Mostly to go. The bartender, Carlos, is amazing and I can't say enough good things about his service. That being said. Mario. I've never in my lifetime received the poor quality service he provides time and time again. Last time we went he brought out our food that had clearly been sitting for a long period of time in the kitchen. Mario had been nowhere to be found while waited. Actually walked to the bar to ask Carlos for a refill. When Mario DID bring the food you could tell just by looking at it that the food was cold. The "melted" cheese was solid. Every bite was cold, the burger was SOAKED in the juice that had congealed at the bottom of the plate thing. We said we would not be back. Fast forward a few months, we had ordered from Carlos meals to go and they were fine. So the wife and I decided to add the place back to our date night rotation. We saw Mario was working and attempted to get a seat he wouldn't wait on us at. Young lady brought us menus and got our drink orders. We were hopeful. Then Mario shows up with our drinks. Damn. Once again, for the bulk of our time in the restaurant Mario was nowhere to be found. We would have happily ordered more drinks... had he asked. The food we ordered was again cold, but what's worse, he botched our order. I ordered the burger Medium Rare, I like that. My wife, medium well. Hers came out bloody as hell, mine dryer than a popcorn fart. We tried to get his attention but it was hopeless. She refused to eat hers. And rightly so. He ignored the fact that she was sending back a plate with the burger pulled out and left un-eaten on the plate. We were done, with the meal and with the place in general. He brought us our tab then disappeared. Again. We waited. We waited. Finally he shows up, takes my card and tab and leaves us there to wait. Again. Mind you, there was hardly anyone there. He was not busy. Just left us. When he finally brought my card back he unceremoniously thumped the receipt and card on the table and pointed at the tip section with the pen then disappeared again. Cold food, shameful service, treated badly. 90 dollar tab. We will not be back. Sad, really. Cause when it's NOT Mario, this place is a...
Read moreFood was great. My picky kids loved it. Good ambience. Kid Friendly. My only two critiques were that we ordered the chips and salsa appetizer and it came with a generous sized salsa bowl but only about half the basket was filled with chips. My family of 5 ate through them quickly but still had more than 1/2 a bowl of salsa left. We asked if they could refill the chips, but the waitress told us she doesn't think they do that. We asked her to double check and she came back to let us know that they'd make more chips and bring them out as soon as their done. Great! The other thing was that they have lunch and dinner pricing for some of their entrees, specifically the Galbi and Bulgogi meals. We were there for lunch on a Sunday around 12:30. When we got the bill, I noticed that we were charged the dinner price for the Galbi entree that had a lunch & dinner price specified (a difference of $4). When I asked the waitress about it, she said that they don't do lunch prices on weekends. I asked where it says that on the menu cause I even went back to the menu to check, and she said "It doesn't say it on there, we just don't honor lunch prices on weekends." If that's the case, they should really specify that on the menu next to the pricing, as it is a bit misleading. Luckily we only ordered one entree and split it along with some wings and sides so I just let it go, but if we ordered multiple entrees, it would have been a significant difference. Great food, just need to be a little more transparent on the menu so folks don't...
