Trap Chicken — Restaurant in Waterbury

I’ve Odered from trap chicken before and had a great experience but today 3/27/2023 was the worst experience and I don’t think I’ll order from them again they looked high and very slow while working …. They don’t cook the same, the food don’t taste the same, and it feels like it was rushed being made the baked Mac and cheese was completely dried up my yams were disgusting the chicken wings were soggy as well as my chili shrimp they had no corn bread so I had to purchase my dessert which was a cheesecake and it was extremely burnt and the worst taste ever if you tried anything burnt you know how nasty it is ! worst experience ever to top it off paid $50 to experience something like this they are very overpriced as well with only little...

Tried Trap Chicken for the 1st time , because of the reviews and word of mouth Raves about the food and service. HMMMM.. where should I start All I want to say is? If that’s the Best .. people need to get out more…Just saying.. Fish is frozen , not fresh although cooked perfectly. Collard Greens ( I am still sick, waaaay tooo much vinegar). Shrimp -questionable, is it real? No-receipt produced.. And last but not least .. Cleanliness should be 1st on the list.. NEVER AGAIN for me.. And this review is not to hurt but help their business.. Alright… was craving some soul food, remembered this spot opened and got some food. I got a 6 piece with Mac, collards, and yams.. and it comes with cornbread, here’s my thoughts… chicken- flavors there but I’d prefer it slightly more crispy. Collards were great. Yams were amazing. Mac was good! I saw another review on here that said it was dry and I didn’t think so! Oh and the cornbread is fire, super sweet and moist which is a personal preference when it comes to cornbread for me!
