I just would like to share that this restaurant is hands down the best soul food that I have had in a long time outside of my own. And because I'm not able to cook my own right now because we are displaced I really appreciate the atmosphere the old school vibe. And the well prepared food good quality well worth the price the taste and we definitely will be back and my son is a firm believer now because before my hardship. I will buy the beef brisket and the collard greens and my son will try to say I'm not trying it because you know that's what kids do but he had lunch today there I had the beef brisket with the macaroni and cheese and collard greens potato salad and of course the cornbread is delicious the meals that they provide remind you of growing up. I called asked if they had wings they said so i specifically asked for Jerked marinated wings what i got was leg quarters sloppy yams. 2nd time ordering if you cant fulfill the customers request why bother being in business the food is being paid by the customer i believe its bad business and if your in it for the money why bother. You do something because you love it and it comes from the heart. Unfortunately due to that i will not be going back. If u cant fulfill a customers paying request this is not the business for you. We cant just serve people what you want because of whatever reason. Nothing is more dissapointing then ordering something and not getting it. Its distasteful. Do better ! So much food and so good! We got the seafood platter, full rack of ribs, potato salad and Mac and cheese. And corn bread, which they forgot one and I am only upset about that because it was so good!

The ribs were a little too smoky for my preference, but done to perfection. If you like smoke, these are it. The sauce was also good. They didn’t put too much on, which I like, so get extra if you like ‘em dripping.

The clam strips were a bit overdone, but still tasty. We didn’t mind too much. The garlic parm shrimp? Delicious. Whiting? Delicious. Fries? Standard Sysco lol which is fine.

I didn’t get to the Mac and cheese but it looked real good. My mom liked the potato salad (I am not a fan in general).

It was far too much food for the three of us but I am sure it will be just as good...
