Staff doesn’t pay attention to their orders and management doesn’t know how to talk to their customers!
3 times in a row I came in the drive thru and got all the way home with my order, only to find out I didn’t receive what I ordered. On the 3rd time I called and spoke with the manager on duty. She apologized, took my name, and told me I’d get a free pie on my next visit. My next visit was 2 days later. When I mentioned my free pie, the manager on duty (store manager) told me she had no record of a free pie, so she couldn’t honor it. She asked me at the speaker what manager promised me a free pie (like she cared and planned on looking into it); I told her I never asked her name, but then remembered when I got to the window what day it was on. When I told her this, all she did was argue about how she couldn’t do anything about it. I told her I understood that, and was just telling her this so she could look into who was working that night, and solve the problem (a real manager cares about customer feedback). She just shook her head and said, “whatever, sir.”
Are you kidding me!!!! That’s how you speak to your customers???? “Whatever, sir”??? You won’t make it in management very long talking to your customers that way, lady. I’ll be back in 6 months when your job is replaced, and your boss will know about this tomorrow. You’re out of your mind if you think I’m going to keep paying for this kind of service.
I understood why she couldn’t honor it, and that it wasn’t her fault that the previous manager didn’t record it. What made me mad was her attitude, arguing with me rather than making any attempt to resolve the situation, just telling me “whatever, sir.” What kind of customer service is that??? Throw that on top of my last 3 visits, and yeah, I won’t be back for a while. There are plenty of other places I can spend my money. I don’t have to pay someone for this kind of service. You need me more than I need you, lady. A real manager...
Read moreFirst, I can't say the people were rude, but certainly not friendly. Ironically, my wife wanted Chick-fil-A and I wanted Popeyes. So we first went through the Chick-fil-A drive up and it was about the best service we've ever gotten! The lady taking order was super nice. Then we went to Popeyes and a completely different experience. I ordered a Chicken Sandwich and it was just "OK", certainly not what I've had from other Popeyes. The french fries were absolutely terrible, soggy and cold. So the food was bad, the service wasn't good and the place looked pretty dirty. As a side note, I don't want to accuse anyone of anything I can't prove, but the same day I used my debit card there, I had an attempt of fraud on my debit card. Popeyes was the only place I had used my card that day. I had to put a freeze on the card and get a new one. Not saying it was connected to my Popeye's visit, but strangely coincidental.
Update: Love Popeyes chicken, so decided to try them one more time. HUGE mistake. Went through the Drive Through and was told to wait, which I happily did. After several minutes, I was asked for my order. I ordered a sandwich and they said they were out. I said thanks and left. Decided to return and just order some chicken. To avoid another delay at the Drive Through, i decided to go in. Waited for several minutes with nobody even acknowledging I was there. There was nobody in the place but me and maybe one car in the drive through. Just terrible service. The owner should really...
Read moreIf I could give this store 0 stars I would. I am a Door Dasher on occasion and I received no less than at least 3 orders while trying to get service at this store on September 1, 2022 at approximately 6:30 PM. Each order was subsequently denied and rejected by the manager and had to be declined and turned away. I will never return to this store or any other Popeye's ever again because of the venom and hate spewed by the employees at this establishment. They flat out refused service at the end and mocked me and told me they didn't want my business. The string of Profanity they used towards me was reprehensible and would have made Samuel Jackson blush.
I am a mild mannered individual and was completely respectful up until the end. Did I mention I was on the phone the entire time with Door Dash help center trying to get my dashes resolved the entire time Popeye's employees treated me the way they did?
I was shocked and embarrassed by their behavior towards me as a customer and a representative of countless other potential customers through Door Dash. It was a mob and gang mentality with the Manager leading the employees in yelling at me and mocking me.
Because of my shock at their behavior I was left stammering and stuttering my disbelief as I left. The girl at the register then proceeded to mock my speech impediment with a mock stutter "D... d... dd... d..."
Take your business to KFC on Kimball Ave instead. The employees by comparison at KFC there were angelic and...
