Sub City — Restaurant in Waterloo

I just sat down at work to eat my sub in a tub and realized that, the bacon is still sitting in the microwave. Did not get the chipotle ranch, oil, vinegar, onions that I asked for. Should have kept an eye on the person putting it together because this has happened before. Today, I was even in there well before closing time and there was no one in there. Anytime after 2 p.m. will earn you dirty looks and unchecked rudeness. I have very limited time for lunch and often don't get to sit down to eat it until I am back at the office so I am stuck with what I got. I guess at least there was no O and V to leak all over since I couldn't have a bag. Updated 7/10/24- another visit, another unfinished order. No chipotle mayo, oil, or vinegar, even though he asked me 3 times! Next time I will need to open it up before I leave because this is so...

Went to there tonight around 6:35. Door said OPEN. Walked in and the guy at the counter looked at me and said there was a VERY limited amount of food left and acted like he didn't want to make anything. I asked if he had turkey and bread and he said oh a number 11? I said yes. He then asked what toppings I wanted, but again it was VERY LIMITED!!! I asked if he still had "The Works" available. I could tell he just didn't want to get all the food back out when they were clearly open for another 25 minutes. He made me my sandwich and I went on my way.

Fast forward about 15 minutes and I take my first bite and there is a LARGE piece of hard plastic in the first bite of my sandwich. It looks like a piece from one of their bottles.

Terrible service, complained about being open, and there was plastic in my food. Never going...

Very disappointed , the management has changed and the service is now deplorable! Complete lack of respect for customers! ! I was told I couldn't just walk in and order more than 4 sandwiches at a time. He said he would make an exception. I was the only customer there what could possibly be the big deal by making 1 more ? He loudly complained about everything then while on his phone became so put out as 3 more customers walked in. The owner really should reevaluate putting such a rude man in charge. My advice go to any other sub city great food but 4th St store is as rude...
