Alex's Kitchen — Restaurant in Watertown

I went to the place 2 times, first time it was ok. Second time it was unpleasant...I got a reasonable portion of mayonnaise salad mixed with some vegetable(this food is very common in Brazil), for my surprise it was spoiled. Mayonnaise is something that spoils easily outside the proper environment. They should check that all the time, make it fresh every hour.

Second thing is...I’m a construction worker so all the time I’m drinking water, when I’m not working I always keep a bottle water with me, that day I entered without realizing drinking water, when I finished eating the guy upfront told me that I could not come inside drinking anything, because they sell drinks inside and he could not make money that way. What upset me was because there is no signs saying anything about that. Also I don’t think a bottle water will makes you rich. They should focus on the food first, improve the quality. That way they will only have success. It’s never too...

This review is just for the hot food being sold as I’ve not bothered with their groceries considering what is available in the area within a quarter mile.

Like anything in hot hold for a while, everything gets significantly overcooked. So I tried it at various times to see if there was any difference. Not really. Everything is just overcooked. So maybe it’s the style or it’s the classic little family business that reheats everything to avoid waste.

Of all the items I’ve tried so far, I can only say that the okra was the one item that surprised me. Everything else didn’t make much of an impression but the okra was a Tyson uppercut in flavor. So maybe I’ll just be back for that and ignore the several times I showed up early and food already pulled and “closed”...

Bad customer service. The negative reviews are sadly true on every aspect. The owner or the person who answers the phone is very rude. I called almost an hour before their closing time and the guy was like uhhh we’re closed. I understand 15 min before closing but an hour? Sounds like you don’t want to run a business and just overcharge people for average Brazilian food. Only reason I called this place was because it’s the closest Brazilian restaurant to me but definitely not worth the hassle...
