Dining at this fine Thai restaurant is an unforgettable experience that blends authentic flavors, elegant presentation, and warm hospitality. From the moment you enter, the ambiance sets the tone—a refined space with soft lighting, tasteful Thai-inspired décor, and an atmosphere that feels both luxurious and inviting.
The menu is a thoughtfully curated journey through Thailand’s rich culinary heritage, balancing traditional recipes with creative, modern touches. Every dish is presented like a piece of art, beautifully plated with vibrant colors and intricate garnishes. The flavors are masterfully layered—spicy, sweet, sour, and savory all dancing together in perfect harmony.
One standout is the Tom Yum noodle , a fragrant soup with plump, juicy pork ground in a tangy lemongrass broth that awakens the senses. The hoi tod , slow-cooked to perfection, is rich and comforting, with tender meat that melts in your mouth. For those seeking a lighter option, the papaya salad bursts with freshness and just the right amount of chili heat, offering a refreshing contrast to the richer dishes.
What truly elevates the experience is the impeccable service. The staff are attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the dishes, and happy to suggest pairings from their impressive wine and cocktail list. Every interaction feels genuine, as if they take personal pride in ensuring each guest’s satisfaction.
To end the meal, the thai tea ice cream a perfect finale that leaves you smiling.

Read moreThey can easily be one of those case studies for budding restauranteurs interested in entering the industry. Here, they can learn that it’s not only about the culinary excellence and a true dedication to the art, but also a good portion of luck, culinary creativity, being in a great location, and catering to the desired demographics for their success. Sure, they are very popular now but they had quite the journey to get here. For that, I truly applaud their grit to come to the success that they have right now.
I can easily say that Cha Yen is one of my favorite Thai spots in the area. The chef has elevated the cuisine as a fusion into a whole different level of creativity while still harnessing some of the most traditional flavors. What you find in any other Thai restaurant is now presented in a more upscale approach while preserving their original identity. The flavors here tickle the palate and beckons desire to try more.
This location is a jump from the casual eatery prior. Plates and food presentation are updated. Decor is no longer as “divey”. The overall ambiance is different and if you didn’t realize it was a Thai eatery, you wouldn’t think it actually is one. Add that to their culinary excellence, they’ve created a winning combination and hence, the heavily packed restaurant every weekend. People here know and people here want it. We all want it.
Good food, creative, friendly staff, great location, and the right demographics…stuff that case studies will remind you...

The Khao Soi was okay, and the Spicy noodle soup was a bit salty. It was still consistent with my last experience, but the flavor did improve a little bit, so I bumped it up a star here, but still a weak 4 imo.
Checked out this place since I live close by, and mostly due to the reviews. However, I was unfortunately fairly disappointed with the results. My friend and I also came here after a 4-hour winter hike, so we were exhausted and hungry, so any food would do us wonder then. Sadly, it was only ok.
I ordered the Kao Soi, and my friend ordered the Spicy Noodle Soup. The Kao Soi was quite salty, and didn't taste flavorful. The brisket was a hit or miss, some pieces were tender, some pieces were dry. The dry egg noodle was also bland. My friend didn't like like his spicy noodle as well, I tried it the broth was also really bland. The only good one (that I forgot to take pictures of) was their grilled beef. Very tender and well seasoned.
I would go here again to prove myself wrong, as I do like the vibe and want to support local restaurants. Hopefully it will be a better...
