Suphi Furs — Local services in Watertown

If you are lucky enough to have the chance to visit Suphi Furs, you should do so! I brought in a vintage fur and wool coat for cleaning. They did a beautiful job of cleaning and restoring the coat, and offered information about the type of fur, period of production of the coat, and how best to care for it (all things I wouldn’t have known!). They are incredibly generous - price for the work was very fair, and Suphi and his employees are so hospitable, knowledgeable, and caring that even running an errand of picking up a garment from cleaning is a delightful visit. Now I’m looking for other fur and leather coats to bring in so I can have the chance to visit again! :) In addition to cleaning and restoration, they also offer other services including retail sales, tailoring, and seasonal temperature-controlled storage. I am currently having my full length fur coat remodeled at Suphi Furs. The process is going very smoothly. I’ve come to the shop for a few fittings and I can see that my coat will look and fit better than the day that I bought it 40 years ago! That is because Mr. Suphi is a master tailor of the highest skill. His design sense is impeccable. His talent and attention to detail is reflected in every coat that he works on. It is a pleasure to visit the shop because Mr. Suphi is naturally a kind, honest and welcoming professional.

Don’t let your old fur coat languish in the closet. Bring it to Suphi Furs and let Mr. Suphi give it new life. I am so glad that I embarked on this remodeling project, and I am confident that you will be, as well!

Anybody who fails to recognize Mr. Suphi as the artist he is within five minutes of interacting with him, is a fool.

Prior to my visit I was intrigued by all the sterling reviews. The level of professionalism, skill, and hospitality on display at Suphi Furs left me so impressed, I’m writing my very first Google review :)

I brought in a pair of lambskin trousers damaged with a hardened bloodstained spot. Mr. Suphi did a superlative job cleaning and re-conditioning them, and now I can barely feel where the damage had occurred.

I’m so happy I found a place nearby that I can trust with all my leather and fur needs. Look forward to revisiting with another handful of items that could use some tender...
