Chubba's Bagelry — Restaurant in Watertown

Sometimes, I literally hate the town I live in. Traffic, lack of a Water Park, etc. But OTHER times, I literally raise my hands to the heavens and give thanks for living 30 seconds from a place like this. One of the best things about my area is that there is a lot of small, locally owned businesses/business owners that work hard and put out an amazing product, and I go out of my way to support them. Chubba's is just such a business. Little hole in the wall tucked away in a strip mall that could be easily missed, trust me...don't miss it.

The bagels and sandwiches are out of this world, I've never been disappointed, and I've dug pretty deep into the menu. On top of the food, the prices are ridiculously reasonable. 2 people can eat for what 1 person would cost you at Dunkin Donuts. Service is always quick and friendly and it's always nice to see familiar faces behind the counter.

Places like this are what it's all about, next time that left blinker is on as you're trying to turn into Dunkin Donuts (which you will likely sit there for 15 minutes waiting to do), turn it off, drive straight for a quarter mile, then turn it on again and hit Chubba's. Your stomach will high...

Heidi is very unprofessional and rude had a large salad and was only given a very small amount of dressing and when ever I come here I always ask for 2 dressings because the salads are so big and they always give it to me for free. I asked her for another salad dressing and she states "before you leave I have to charge you for that extra dressing" and I told her no one has ever charged me is that new and she said no we always charge for the dressing and I said the manager always said it was okay because it was such a huge salad that it doesn't taste good unless there is 2 dressings. She says "that's my sister and the last time you were here she told you that we have to charge for the extra dressing so no she did always charge you" . That is so rude of her to start arguing with me over a dressing . Karrie would of never spoke to me that way, she would just say "I'm so sorry now we have to charge for a second dressing" she wouldn't have been rude. She's always professional. So disgusted with this customer service when I'm a frequent customer. And when I tried to resolve the issue with her she walked away and wouldn't listen to what...

This is the second time I used Chubba‘s for a work event. They are located conveniently close to my job on Main Street. Plenty of parking in front. I placed the order the day before and was able to pick it up when I needed. They do not make the bagels fresh here, they order them and bring them in. The cream cheese from what I was told is mixed every day including the flavors. Great prices on both bagels and cream cheese. I bought a few different varieties including blueberry, sun-dried tomato, egg, whole wheat, sesame seed, etc. For cream cheese I ordered plain, vegetable, strawberry, jalapeño, and scallion. The cream cheese is very good. My favorite is always the scallion. The bagels are OK, nothing great. This time they weren’t as fresh. I was told by a few people that the egg sandwiches are good. I’ll have to come back and try it...
