Marshalls — Local services in Watertown

I am helping my mother with her clothes. I went to return some that she purchased from this store. I did not have the receipt. There were 6 people in line in front of me one register open. The employees must get $$ for having customers sign up for credit card. Gabbing and setting up CC account after 20 mins 5 more employees finally gathered. 2nd register open, all employees were trying to figure how to open an account with no driver license. After a very long wait, it was my turn. After i handed my return, she looked at me in disgust. Whispered to another employee, she did same. Then I was told I could not return the item. I did not argue I just left. I did not deserved to have been treated so poorly because I was returning items. I will not return to this store and I will b writing Corporate office over...

I came to Marshals this evening to find some bins for underneath my bed for storage. I picked up two sets of them and I was so excited to use them until I went to the counter to ring out. The sets were not sets in fact they were to be sold separate. The smaller bin was MAYBE 8” by 8” and it was 10 dollars. I had to decline which ones I wanted and pick and choose which ones I wanted at the counter. If I knew I would of gotten different ones and not willy nilly choose which ones at the counter. They should not of been placed one inside the other as if they were to be sold as a set, that’s not right at all. In the past I’ve LOVED shopping at Marshals. Extremely poor service! I had an excellent experience at the Danbury location only thing was that I needed a smaller size in the denim blue Levi's jeans. As I walked into the store no one greeted me, I waited patiently for acknowledgement. None. The cashier number lights up, I then proceed & ask whether the item is available and/or for assistance. The cashier asked another cashier (they clearly was frustrated as if I was bothering them) the other cashier say, "this is not a big retail store" rudely I then state that I didn't ask that & reinstated that all I needed was help in the direction of where the Levi's jeans were.
