Hardee's — Restaurant in Watertown

The staff was very polite. However they were horrendously understaffed. It appeared there was merely 2 employees. And they certainly did not seem to be handling the volume of business without pretty severe struggle. I waited over 1/2 hour for my order. others were waiting longer. There was MAYBE 2 ordered ahead of mine - not counting drive thru orders (which did not seem to be all too busy mind you) I was kinda shocked that when I placed my order, it seemed like they wanted me to order more *I know they're pressured by higher-ups to upsell, but still - I had an easy order 5 of the same combo meal, with bottled juice. You'd think that in their state of chaos and difficulty with keeping up, they'd have been relieved to have a simple order? Well, after waiting what felt like an eternity, I finally received my food, and a statement thanking me for being patient. I do hope that the staff on that day was well compensated, since it was a holiday. And in the future, y'all need to staff the place with more than 2...

This is not going to be a good post. There was no way to say ZERO star!!! The young man at the register took the order. We said, " For here." Ok. He said again, "For here or to go?" We said again, "Here." He gave us a number, no receipt. We didn't get our drink cup. We asked for one. He said, "You didn't order a drink." I said, "Correct, but he did with the Thursday only meal." The young lady in training, after some confusion, gave us a cup. The young man brought out an order, not ours, our number clearly visible on the table, and asked if this was our order. We said, "No." After several more minutes he came back again, asked if this was our order, the number still on the table. The burgers were right, there were no fries which we mentioned. Hardee's in its self has been my favorite on-the- go joint since childhood. Sadly the one near my old house closed down and the only two I know about now are in Hartland and Watertown. I moved to Watertown excited that I lived down the road from Hardee's ... and Ive only went twice. The first time the food was so bad I couldn't finish it. The second time was last night at about 9:15, the food was fine but the man who was there shut off the lights while I was eating with my spouse! He then locked the door and it was 9:45. I worked in the customer service industry for several years through high school and not once did I treat a customer like that.
